Seriously, WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?!

The starting paragraph is from another thing I'm trying to write

Lightbulb wouldn't admit that she was worried about the fact that she hadn't talked to Paintbrush for... A few days, because she was sure it'd be fine.
This wasn't their first argument, in fact, the arguments were a near daily experience, although they were usually resolved fast.
Test Tube and Fan were definatly helping her though. They were fun to be around, and even got along well with Baxter, other than the time Baxter accidentally pinched Fan, but that's unimportant.

Lightbulb would never admit it, even if they had been her friends for decades, but she was extremely glad that they had arrived at this point.
After all, what could possibly go wrong?

She took a deep breath as she entered the room she shared with Test Tube. It wasn't like there weren' t going to be any arguments or anything, right?

"Hey Lightbulb!" She heard a loud voice call. Turning around, she saw an angry paintball throw itself at her, and she barely managed to catch the projectile before it hit her head. (PAINTBALL?! AGAIN?! WHY)

"Ugh! Hey you guys! Sorry I'm late." She said sheepishly, returning the paintball gun back to Test Tube. He grinned as he put away his paintball gun. (Okay, apparently Test Tube is a 'he' now)

"It's fine Lightbulb, we just finished talking to Baxter. He was saying how much he liked you. You should come over sometime." He said enthusiastically. Lightbulb nodded slowly. (Talking to crabs once again)

"Okay, maybe later." She agreed reluctantly.
"Alright, let's head downstairs and watch some cartoons!" Test Tube announced happily. Lightbulb raised an eyebrow, but decided to just follow him. (I feel like they basically swapped personalities)

As long as Paintbrush didn't try to stab her again, everything would be fine. (Hold up, WHAT)

---

Lightbulb sighed as she looked at her phone. What if this was too good to be true?

Lightbulb: hey, do you guys wanna see something cool?

Lightbulb: this might sound kind of lame, but i found a way to talk to someone else through text

Lightbulb: it' s called texting, i guess (Lightbulb discovers texting!!!)

Lightbulb: idk how to explain it better

Lightbulb: anyways, here's the deal

Lightbulb: can i talk to someone through texts?

Lightbulb: just for like, 10 minutes, i promise! ill just text you guys then :)

Lightbulb: its a small price to pay for the chance to talk to people, dontcha think?

Lightbulb: i promise i wont stay up all night

Lightbulb: im super excited!

Lightbulb: hope u guys like it! :)

Lightbulb: also ill probably have to go soon bc i'l be late for class

Lightbulb: but i'll text you guys as soon as i can!

Lightbulb: and remember, just 10 minutes max!

Lightbulb: bye!!!

Lightbulb: love you guys

Lightbulb: so much :)

Lightbulb set her phone down on her bed and grabbed her bag, deciding that she might as well pack now.

Lightbulb packed clothes, toothpaste, snacks, and the usual supplies. She glanced at herself in the mirror, trying to decide whether or not she wanted to wear makeup.

She finally decided against it, knowing that the only reason it was even possible was because she had become friends with Paintbrush.

She threw on some shorts, a tank top, and a sweatshirt, hoping that no one would notice she was wearing nothing underneath. (Humanized once again)

Lightbulb walked down to the living room, making sure to lock the door. She hoped the others would understand, but knew that they wouldn't.

She sat down next to Lightbulb's sister, who was watching some show. (She has a sister?!)

"Lightbulb?" Lightbulb looked over at her sister.

"Yeah, Light?" (Okay her sister's name is Light. Cool)

Lightbulb' s sister paused the TV and turned to face Lightbulb.
"Do you need help packing?" She asked quietly.

Lightbulb shook her head.
"No, no. It's okay. I've actually already packed." Her sister shrugged and went back to watching the TV.

Lightbulb stared at the floor as the rest of the group began to arrive.

When they got to the dormitory, Lightbulb followed the others inside. The room seemed eerily quiet compared to when she'd gone home.

Her gaze landed on a poster hanging above the couch.
'The Light and Darkness of The Night' read the title, accompanied by a picture of a woman in the sky, surrounded by stars.
It looked oddly familiar. (Spoiled Lemon's new hit)

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a door slamming open. Her attention quickly returned to the poster, which had flipped over.

A tall man with messy brown hair stepped into the room, followed by another shorter man with bright orange hair and black stripes across his cheeks. (Annnnnd more random men! Woohoo!)

All three of them wore matching yellow shirts and pants with the words 'THE LIGHT AND THE DARKNESS OF THE NIGHT' printed across the chest. Their faces were covered in thick goggles, giving them the appearance of monsters.

"Hey Lightbulb," the taller man started, "I heard you needed us?"
Lightbulb nodded silently.

"Oh my god, Lightbulb, did you find a girlfriend?" The orange haired boy asked loudly. Lightbulb winced slightly.

"Um, yes... Yes I did..." She responded nervously. The two boys looked shocked, while their companion simply smiled. (It's Test Tube, isn't it?)

"Well, Lightbulb, congratulations! We're very happy for you! Come sit with us at dinner!" The other boy gestured to the seats at the table.

Lightbulb looked over at her sisters, who shrugged in response. (SisterS? I thought there was only one!)

Lightbulb sighed in defeat, and made her way over to the table. She took her seat next to her brother, who greeted her warmly. (Jesus fuck how many siblings does she have)

"So Lightbulb, how long have you been doing this 'talking to people' thing?" His twin, who was sitting next to Lightbulb, asked curiously.

"About six months," Lightbulb responded hesitantly. The two boys gasped.

"That's amazing Lightbulb! Have you ever tried to contact anyone else?" The green haired one asked. (HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE THERE?!)

Lightbulb frowned, remembering why she didn' t want anyone to know about this.

"Well..." She trailed off, looking unsure of her answer. The other boys gave her sympathetic looks.

"Don' t worry Lightbulb, you'll figure it out eventually. Just give it time." The taller boy reassured her gently. Lightbulb nodded, smiling slightly.

"I suppose so. Thanks guys." She said gratefully. The boys grinned widely and waved their hands excitedly.

"Anytime Lightbulb! Now come on, we've gotta get some food before it gets cold! And it is almost dinnertime!"

"But you always eat after dinner, Bob.". (B o b)
