Chapter 186

Lisa held her breath as she was waiting for Jisoo's reply.

Jisoo looked at Lisa strangely. After a while, she asked, "What's the matter with you? Are you going to transform?"

Lisa was stunned for a moment. She looked at Jisoo and asked, "What did you say?"

"What do you mean you're not you? Why metaphysics are you playing?" Jisoo looked at Lisa with disgust.

"Come on, don't think about all this nonsense with your not-so-smart brain," Jisoo said as she gently knocked on Lisa's head.

"Hurry up and finish your drink. We still have to go back to help out!" Jisoo said and pushed the cold drink in front of Lisa.

"Life is not easy. Let's get some rest and continue our journey!" Jisoo like an elderly person.

Lisa was moved and looked at Jisoo. She could not describe how she was feeling in her heart.

Every time she encountered something unpleasant, Jisoo would always give her strength.

Lisa downed the cold drink gloomily. She then stood up and smiled at Jisoo. "Let's go! Otherwise, Sister Dara will deduct my salary!"

Seeing that Lisa had finally recovered her spirit, Jisoo felt relieved. She carried her things and followed Lisa out of the mall.

The two of them walked around the store. Besides two new tablecloths and a few sets of new cutlery, they did not buy anything else.

When they were carrying their things out of the mall, a car suddenly drove up in front of them.

Lisa looked at the car and frowned slightly.

It wasn't a familiar car.

The car window slowly rolled down. Lisa turned her head slightly to look and saw that Taehyung was sitting in the driver's seat.

Taehyung looked at Lisa and Jisoo through the passenger seat''s window and said, "Beauties, do you need a ride home?"

"Why are you here?" Lisa looked at Taehyung curiously.

Taehyung gestured with his hand and said, "I'm getting a gift for my mother. I happened to pass by here."

Lisa looked at the back but didn't see anything.

Jisoo said at this moment, "No need. We'll take a cab back."

After saying that, she tugged at Lisa's sleeve.

Lisa turned to look at Jisoo, only to see Jisoo shaking her head at her.

Lisa thought for a moment before saying to Taehyung, "Thank you for your kindness. We'll take a cab back!"

Seeing this, Taehyung looked at Jisoo and said, "Why? Class Monitor doesn't trust my driving skills?"

Jisoo curled her lips slightly. "We don't dare to trouble Young Master Kim!"

"If any of your fangirls were to see us, we would die without a burial place!" Jisoo said and snorted.

When Lisa heard this, she felt there seemed to be something she did not know.

However, seeing that Jisoo was so determined, Lisa could only smile helplessly at Taehyung and say, "You go ahead. It's very fast to take a cab back."

Seeing that his persuasion was ineffective, Taehyung had no choice but to say goodbye and leave.

Lisa looked at Jisoo, feeling strange.

Jisoo, on the other hand, silently carried her things and walked towards the station.

Lisa silently followed her all the way to the station.

"What happened to the two of you?" Lisa looked at Jisoo, feeling puzzled, and asked.

Jisoo shrugged and said, "I'm afraid that we can't afford to compensate him if we tire out his noble young master's precious body."

Lisa frowned and looked at Jisoo. "Did anyone say anything?"

"Do you remember my sister's previous boyfriend?" Jisoo looked at the cars passing by and asked softly.

"En," Lisa responded. "What's wrong with him?"

Jisoo exhaled lightly. "My parents said as he is from a noble family, his family is against him being together with a child from a poor humble family like ours."

Lisa was puzzled by this statement. "Your family is not considered poor. How could it be..."

Jisoo turned her head and smiled helplessly at Lisa. "My family is dependent on others to survive. We can't compare to those real noble families."

"In their eyes, we are worthless," Jisoo said with a hint of self-mockery in her tone.

Lisa looked at Jisoo.. For a moment she felt her heart aching.
