Lisa gently leaned on Jungkook's shoulder and looked at the puppy in front of her.
"At that time, I was probably just like the puppy. No one wanted me, and people despised me," Lisa said lightly.
"But, fortunately, although the Kim family despised me as a daughter, they still brought me back," Lisa continued.
"I have a new life here, although..." Lisa paused for a moment.
"But, everything is different now!" Lisa looked up at Jungkook.
"I am very grateful to the Kim family for bringing me back!" Lisa stared at Jungkook and said, "Even though I once hated them."
Jungkook looked at Lisa. The corners of his mouth curled up slightly. "I am also very grateful to them!"
The two of them looked at each other quietly. Looking into each other's eyes, they felt everything was so beautiful.
Until...
"Woof!" The dog barked and broke the silence between the two of them.
Jungkook and Lisa seemed to have woken up from a dream and looked in the direction of the puppy.
The puppy seemed to have had a nightmare. It barked and flapped its limbs.
Lisa and Jungkook looked at each other and burst out laughing.
Lisa reached out her hand and gently comforted the restless little thing to calm it down.
Jungkook sat at the side and looked at them.
Jisoo and Dara only returned home before dawn.
Lisa was not asleep yet. She was groping in the kitchen to find something to eat.
"Why aren't you asleep in the middle of the night?" Jisoo asked when she saw the packets of things in Lisa's hands."I can't help it. I was reading till late. I'm hungry," Lisa said as she raised the bags of snacks in her hands. "Would you like to have some?"
Jisoo nodded and walked over to take a packet. She sat on the sofa and began to eat.
"Seriously, what's the big deal? Why made the two of us go back!" Jisoo said unhappily.
"After a whole night of tossing and turning, we didn't even get a proper meal!" Jisoo became angrier as she spoke.
"What's the matter? Why were you in such a hurry to go back?" Lisa sat next to Jisoo and asked.
"It's my sister's wedding!" Jisoo couldn't help but roll her eyes.
"I don't know what had happened to my parents that they insisted on arranging a blind date for my sister!" Jisoo said as she glanced at Dara who had already quietly walked into the room.
Lisa also looked over.
Dara looked very tired. She didn't say a word as she walked into the room and closed the door.
"Judging from Sister Dara's appearance, it doesn't look good," Lisa said worriedly.
"Exactly!" Jisoo sighed.
"They said that it was an urgent matter and asked us to go back. But when we went back, they said that they wanted to go out for dinner." Jisoo slapped her thigh and continued, "How was that a dinner? It's basically a set-up!"
"When we went to the hotel, we found a table full of four to five men waiting to go on a blind date with my sister!" Jisoo snorted and said.
"Can you imagine that scene!" Jisoo said, rolling her eyes to the sky.
Lisa thought of the awkward scene and couldn't help but sweat for Dara.
"How did sister Dara eat that meal?" Lisa asked curiously.
Jisoo looked at Lisa like she was an elder and patted Lisa on the shoulder.
"Young Man, you don't know my sister," Jisoo said slowly, the corners of her mouth slightly curled up. "Even with a row of zombies in front of her, she could still eat a meal without being disturbed."
After hearing that, Lisa's eyes showed admiration.
After saying that, Jisoo shrugged dejectedly. "I don't know when it started, but my sister has become this calm and collected..."
Lisa looked at Dara's tightly shut door and thought, "Maybe I should let them meet as soon as possible."
