I was in an unknown forest with a mysterious boy and we were running. I could hear our pursuers close behind.

I turned to the boy with me. Even in the dark I can clearly see his features--the features of my beloved, my guardian, my lover, my protector, my rock, my Prince, and most of all my husband. I could see his high cheekbones, his strong jaw, his silky brown locks, and his amber eyes flecked with green which I loved the most were etched with worry.

He pulled me to stop and drew me to him hugging me tight. I looked up into his eyes and knew right then and there he would ask me to leave. I couldn't bear it so I just looked away.

He put his hand under my chin and tilted my head so I was forced to look at him. "You have to believe me when I tell you this is for the best, my love," he said softly.

I shook my head, "What about me? How will I survive knowing you died because of me?" I pleaded, "Let us go. We can survive if we do this together."

He shook his head at me. "Do not be stubborn, my love."

I could feel tears forming in my eyes trying to escape but I blinked them back desperately before he could notice. But alas, I failed.

"Do not worry about me and do not waste your precious tears on me, my beloved. I promised to protect you with my life when we wed and I will. You are much needed then I. Especially with our third child growing in you. You should leave now. I can feel them near. Your family is probably there already so you will be safe once you leave the forest."

"But what about you?" I asked.

"I will hold them off for as long as possible," he said solemnly.

"You'll die if you do."

"But I will die knowing I protected you, my love."

Before I could reply, a knife sailed past our heads barely missing us.

"Go," he said.

I looked at him pleadingly but he shook his head. He drew me to him instead his back facing the direction of our pursuers and hugged me as he whispered, "I promise, I will be back for you. Do not ever forget me. I love you."

He kissed me one last time then pushed me away and told me to run and I did.

Suddenly a large blast of energy knocked me of my feet then there was a flash of white.

I woke up panting and in cold sweat. It was the same dream every night since my birthday and that was a month ago. The dream is the same but the details are clearer. This dream started the same time I met my Guardian and when my abilities surfaced.

With all these strange occurences, questions haunt me but answers elude me.

My name is Tricia Clark and this is my story.
