It wasn't until the three of them arrived to the mall that anyone asked why Bailey was so happy.
Megan started asking her the basic one: "Why are you so damn happy?"
"Yeah. Not like you're not married to an abusive elder with money.", Angelina ironically added.
Seconds after those two conclusions, Bailey sat in a cafe by which they were passing before the mall entrance. She left her purse on a free chair when Angelina and Megan joined her.
"As you said, Valerie. He's a man with money.", Bailey responed.
"And now you're happy? After those bruises?", Angelina asked openly.
"I deserved it. Still, today he gave me a million euros. That's why I'm this happy."
Was Angelina surprised more because Bailey said she deserved Hugo's punches or because it was the moment she realised how fucking wealthy Hugo was.
After the girls' day Angelina did not enjoy at all, she came back to Brad's mansion just to find Hander and Gigi looking worried.
"Oh, good you came.", Gigi said when she entered the living room.
"What's up?" Where's Brad?", Angelina asked them.
"Yeah, that's the problem.", Hander started nervously. "The ship is gone and we actually can't track it anymore."
"What does that mean?"
"Brad turned the navigation off or Hugo did it and now Brad's in trouble.", Hander explained.
"Oh, God! Can Bailey help us? Have you tried calling him? He can't just go missing.", Angelina was shaking.
"We tried.", Gigi answered.
"And??", Angelina yelled.
"He doesn't answer."
