the moment of scilence between you two continued as the owl kept drowing in his thoughts. he sighed lightly, then decided to get up from his chair after he finished his food. you took a few more bites, but the fact of Stolas revealed his true life made you less hungry than you were before. you watched Stolas as he got up, and watched as he was walking over to you, looking at the rest of the food. "well... I think I quite overshared with you" he said with a sad chuckle, then looked at your plate. "I do apologize if I ruined your appetite" he told you softly. you continued to look up at him with symathy, then widened your eyes at his apology. "huh? o-oh no.. don't worry, it's not because of you! it's just... the food was satisfied me enough, that's all" you said to him with a smile, trying to make him feel less worse then he does now.

this made the owl smile lightly at you, and cheered him up to change the subject. he looked up at a huge, fancy clock that was hanging by the exit to the dining room, and widened his eyes. "my, it's quite late already! seems times flies everytime I busy myself on other things" he chuckled a little. you smiled as well, then your smile dropped as you looked down a little. "ok, so... I guess I should get going then.." you said quietly, and got up from the chair. "thank you for everything" you looked at him again, showing an honest smile.

"what?" the prince widened his eyes to your words, panicked for a second that you wanted to leave. "b..but why do you have to go? I would love if you'd stay!" he told you softly.

you were sure he was about to lead you out of his home, but his reply shocked you truly. "what?" you asked. the prince of hell has now offered you to spend the night with you, an innocent girl who no one knew much about before. but you had nothing against it though. in fact, you were thrilled. "you mean it??" you asked him happily your pupils expanding lightly.

the owl's sad expression completely vanished as he showed you a big smile, over the heels as you showed happiness to his request. he nodded fastly, and clapped his hands together. "why, of course I do! it's been so long since I had a guest who isn't my wife's boring friends..." he chuckled. "I would like to offer you the guest room! it has a comfortable bed, a cozy fireplace and a nice view outside" he said with a happy tone.

of course, you couldn't bring yourself to reject such an invitation. after all, it would be way better than your motel room. you smiled happily, and nodded at him. "I would be glad to see it!" you said softly. the owl smiled, and walked by your side, motioning you to follow him, which you did.

"so, (y/n)! I never got the chance to ask you..." he started. "you're such a nice girl, and you don't show any threat like the other demons who ended up here. why did you come to hell instead of heaven?" he asked, tilting his head to the side as he kept walking with you.

you wanted to answer his question with a good answer, but... you couldn't remember anything before you died. "I... I don't know" you replied, looking down with a frown. "all I remember was me driving in my car, and... boom! I crashed, and died at the first moment... I.. should have listened to my dad.." you sighed, continuing to look down.

the owl continued to look at you, then frowned a little. "you know... you need to be a bad person to end up in hell after you die. you don't seem like a bad person at all! not to me!" he told you softly. you smiled weakly at his words, but widened your eyes as you felt his hand beginning to stroke your back. the feeling was sudden, but you had nothing against it. it felt nice.
