She stretched,grabbed her phone on the coffee table and picked up the call.
"Hello" "Hey Kimberly,I need you to come over right now"
"OMG why Chris?Today's literally my day off" she shrugged.
"I know I know. It's important. please cupcake" Chris pleaded on the other side.
"Ok fine. I'll be there as soon as possible" she hung up.
She left her half eaten slice of pizza and stood.
She went into her closet and picked out her usual black suit that brought out her feminine curves.
She tied her brunette hair in a bun and applied a mild makeup which actually made no difference compared to her beauty.
She grabbed her phone and headed downstairs to the entrance door.
"Kimberly,where you going?"
"To work aunt Clover. It's important"Kimberly said she got to the door.
"Okay. Return early and say hello to Chris for me"
"Sure thing aunt"
She left the house,got in her black Mercedes Benz and drove off.

She rushed into the building holding her black leather bag in her right hand and her mobile phone on the other.
"Ma'am the meeting has almost begun. Fourth floor,conference room 27"
"Thanks Tracey"
Kimberly got in the elevator and arrived at the fourth floor in less than fifteen seconds.
She got to conference room 27 and creaked the door open.
All eyes fell in her. The room was filled with richly dressed guests and then she locked eyes with Chris.
Chris signaled her to come in. She walked in.
"Good day everyone,I'm so sorry I'm late"
"It's fine" Chris said and pulled out a chair for her to sit. She sat on the empty chair next to Chris.
A red haired lady at the opposite side of the table interjected.
"So,Mr. David Chris,sir has agreed to buy the entire estate and he has been the granted this request by the government. Additionally,he is willing to pay you one third of the profit made from the upcoming project"
"This is not the agreement. The agreement is,government would let us keep the estate if we gain enough before the end of the year and if not,Mr Argreste can take over".Chris objected as he defends himself.
"And that's why this meeting is held to discuss this with you. Mr Chris,we are not enemies with your company. Instead,we are business partners. We both trying to grow the estate and according to the statistics there's a terrible drop in the current state of the estate and we have come to help get it back in its feet before it swells terribly"
Kimberly spoke up "Miss,I'm Kimberly Clover,Mr Chris person assistant. I am terribly sorry to break it down to you but you seem to be unaware of the deed signed by both parties. Government agreed to let us keep the estate till the end of the year with no interruptions from External parties like your company. This is clearly stated in the contract and it seems you are not abiding by the signed contract ma'am. It wouldn't be nice if the government comes to hear of a sudden change of mind and external interruptions"
The red haired lady stared at Kimberly with disgust and irritation but Kimberly knew she nailed it as she plastered a smirk on her face.
The door opened attracting all eyes to it. Two men in suit walked in and stood at the two edges of the door.
Mr Erden walked into the room on a call and went straight to the red haired lady without saying a word and sat next to her.
Kimberly began to pant and jumped up from her seat in haste. Chris stood up and held her by the side.
"Kim,you okay?"
She widened her eyes like she'd seen a criminal and pointed at Mr Erden.
"Him...him...he did it...he's the one...he"she stammered as the memories of the past flooded her mind. Range,anger and hate gloomed in her head.
She walked up to him and pointed her finger at him.
"You are a dirty murderer and I'll make sure you pay"
Mr Erden stood up and looked at her head to toe and back to her head,smiled and said sternly "Don't you ever pound your filthy fingers at me lady" and walked away.
Before he left the room,Kimberly walked to his front,tears forming in his eyes making everything around her blurry.
"You disgusting piece of shut. You don't age do you?"
He ignored her and walked out the room.
Chris tried to calm her down but she followed behind him.
She got to his front again and raised he hand to hit him big be held it in mid air and flung it back down.
"You need serious help and for your foolish attitude,you'll pay severely"his eyes showed anger as he spoke but Kimberly gave the exact same expression.
They stare intensely at each other for a while
"Kimberly,please not now" Chris said as he held her. She turned to look at him. His eyes filled with confusion,pain and concern.
She hugged him tightly as she let out sobs.
Mr Erden scoffed,dusted his suit jacket and waved at his workers to tag along.
They followed behind him like hungry dogs running after a dry bone and they exited the building.
