She wore a red crop top and blue denim jeans. Her hair in its usual bun with a few curls falling by the sides of her face
"Of course you were,you invited me duh"she said and crouched down beside him
"You look real pretty cupcake" he said scanning her face eagerly
"I wasn't pretty before,or" she asked sarcastically dragging the word "or"
"Yeah if you say so"he said and shrugged his shoulder
"You unromantic cunt" she hit him on his chest playfully
""Ow,I'm just kidding. You've always been pretty. Actually the prettiest I've ever seen" he then leaned in for a kiss.
She pushed his face away "you just said that because you want a kiss".
"Nooo,I'm damn serious Kim"
"Sure,now the main reason why I'm here?"
"Oh yeah,well good news,I know where he stores the file. It's in a flash"he smirked at his amazing contribution
She facepalmed and bowed her head. "A file for what exactly Chris?"
"Where he stores his shit,I'm pretty sure it contains stuffs on your mum's death. Trust me" he said with all sincerity on his face.
Tho his words made no sense,Kim trusted him wholeheartedly. "Where's the flash in question?"
"Ok that's the problem. He carries it everywhere. It's always in his inner shirt. We have a three percent chance of getting it. I know Mr Argreste,he loves his body space bubble and nobody gets close to him"
"So what next Chris?"Kim said as her bright happy face began to slowly vanish.
"I don't know Kim,that's the only way"Chris sighed
Kimberly sat plain,sad and angry all at once as she scavenged her brain and mind for ideas
"Wait,so you're telling me,if I get the flash,there will be an evidence he killed my mum and his evil plans to ruin the estate?" She shot at him
"Very accurate,Mr Argreste stores his entire life in that flash. It reminds him of his debtors,meetings,plans and shit. We really need the flash and real quick"
"I have an idea and I'm pretty sure it's not one you'll like"her lips curving into a frown
"Cmon hit me. I'm all ears"
"You know the upcoming masquerade ball we were invited to and declined,is Mr Argreste gonna be there?"
"Mmhmm,he shows up for everything that involves signing contracts. He's definitely gonna be there"he nodded
"That's our queue Chris,we're definitely going. It's gonna be a fun night"she smiled
