"Seriously... What the hell just happened?"

That is what Thanatos said as he found himself in an area filled with light and where he is standing in, it is always the bright light all over the place.

"This is weird. Is this some sort of game? Did the devs finally extended the server?" He said only to look at himself as he is still in his Death Elemental form.

"Interesting." Thanatos then tried to inspect his entire body and he could almost feel it, "Is this real? Am I dreaming?" He said to himself, feeling rather unsure about himself exactly.

"Greetings, I was expecting to see a human rather than what you are but regardless, I will do as my job has been requested."

An unknown voice had echoed through the light and Thanatos becomes alert now over who it is.

"Who goes there? What is it that you want with me?" Thanatos said, being alert towards the unknown voice.

"Huh? Do you not know why you are here? You should have been informed about the contract. Did you not read it?" The unknown voice echoed again but with startling confusion.

"No, I didn't read it. I don't even know what contract am I even reading. Or what the hell are you even talking about?" Thanatos answered with his tone laced in annoyance.

Thanatos is on edge right now. One minute, he is having a conversation with his friend because the server is about to shut down and the next, he found himself in this location, some matter of dream-like dimensional plane with an unknown voice talking to him.

If this is a dream, he really need to wake up now.

"I was told that you were informed about this... I was also told that you were the one who signed the contract." The unknown voice said again and this time, the footsteps could be heard.

Light shined where Thanatos was looking at and someone finally appeared in front of him.

The person appeared to be a man with long silver hair and wearing some-sort of traditional clothes while also have a necklace over his neck which looked like the shape of a crescent moon.

After inspecting the man, Thanatos started to speak "And who are you?"

"My apologies then for not introducing myself. I am Tsukuyomi, the one who rules over the moon. And it seemed there must have been some mistake." The man, Tsukoyomi, introduced himself to Thanatos.

"Charmed..." Thanatos snarked in a deadpan manner.

Tsukoyomi finally said, "I was supposed to send you to another world, which you need to save but since you didn't sign the contract, I am clueless on what to do." He sighed.

"Another world which I am supposed to save?" Thanatos said the words in confusion as Tsukuyomi started explaining.

"Ah! Yes. From demons, the goddess called you as a hero and made you sign a contract-" Tsukuyomi stopped and after pausing for a moment, he continued. "Was supposed to but failed so I guess it is my duty now." Tsukuyomi then pulled out a paper and a feather with ink.

Something that Thanatos thought wouldn't look out of place from a bygone era of sort.

"Please sign this contract." Tsukuyomi handed the paper and the feather to Thanatos.

Thanatos looked at Tsukoyomi with distrust in his hidden eyes.

"So... Tsukoyomi, right?" Thanatos said, "If I were to actually 'signed this contract', what is the policy? What do I gained from this?"
