(Mya's P.O.V)

My legs dangled down, almost touching the floor. I kicked my legs back and forth anxiously waiting for the woman to tell us Michelle can be tested. I felt Michelle squeeze my hand, and I turned to her. I loved my sisters with all my heart, and at the moment I felt like my heart would burst. I hugged Michelle and a single tear slid down my cheek. "I love you, Michelle. I hope you okay." I whispered, still hugging her. "I love you too, Mya. And I think I'll be alright, but I know that I might have cancer." she said, breaking our hug. I wiped my tear away, and heard a door open. "Michelle Parker?" a male voice asked. I stood up with my sister, and Mom rose too. We walked over and the man took us down a hallway, up a flight of stairs, and down another hallway. We entered the second-to-last door on the left and the man turned around and said, "Which one of you is Michelle?" I look at Michelle and we laughed. "I'm Mya." I said and Michelle said  "And I'm Michelle." The guy nodded and motioned Michelle to sit on the bed. I walked with her and we sat on the bed together. Mom seated herself in a chair. "Dr.Marney should be here in a few moments." he said, walking out the door. In a few minutes another man with dark, mahogany hair and green eyes came in the room. "Hello. I'm Dr.Marney." he said, outstretching his arm towards Mom. She shook his hand and then Dr.Marney turned around. "Okay, so how are you ladies doing?" he asked and Michelle and I said together, "Good." We laughed, as did Mom and the doctor. "So, are you Michelle?" he asked pointing at me. I shook my head and said "Nope." Dr.Marney nodded then looked at Michelle. "That must mean your Michelle? Correct?" Michelle nodded and smiled. She stretched out her arm and said "Nice to meet you." Dr.Marney smiled and shook her hand. "We'll need to test you, just take a few blood samples." Dr.Marney said. A nurse walked in the room and smiled. "I'm Ms.Mullop." she said with a smile. Michelle and I were eying the tray she was holding. There were three needles, and three test tubes that you'd find in a science kit. "Ms.Mullop will take the blood samples, and I'll be back in a few minutes with results." Dr.Marney said. Ms.Mullop approached us and set the tray down. "I'm Michelle." Michelle said before the nurse could ask. Michelle stuck out her arm reluctantly, we both hated needles. "Okay, just relax." the nurse said and she rubbed an alcohol tissue on Michelle's inner elbow. The nurse took one needle and inserted it in Michelle's arm, getting the big vein. Michelle almost yelped, but she held it in. The nurse put the blood into a tube. Then the took the other needle and missed the vein on purpose. She drew the blood that lay in Michelle's tissues and put that in a tube too. The last needle went in the big vein again, probably a backup. Ms.Mullop gave Michelle a tissue and a band-aid. Michelle placed the band-aid on her arm after wiping the blood off. The nurse left and we waited anxiously for Dr.Marney. About ten minutes later Dr.Marney came into the room with a grim expression. "Sorry for the bad news, but... Michelle has leukemia." Dr.Marney said and I grabbed Michelle and hugged her while tears fell freely from my eyes.
