Chapter 8

(Y/n)'s P.O.V

"I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT FIND MY WAY!" Sonic yelled as he tried to lead on. "WE ARE COMPLETELY, TOTALLY LOST!" He yelled. "ITS SO DAMN COLD I THINK IM GONNA DIE OF HYPERTHERMIA!" I yelled. "Sonic! In this weather there's no way we're gonna get any readings on this thing!" Tails exclaimed as he tried to work with his gadget. "Should we go back?" Tails said. "No no no! There's a light up ahead! Maybe we can take shelter in there!" Sonic exclaims. "Are you sure about this? We don't know who's inside." Tails says. "Yeah what he said." I said as I clutch my arms and wrapped the jacket around me tightly.

"Don't worry! On Earth people are very welcoming and love taking complete strangers into their homes." Sonic said proudly. "Oh you sweet summer child." I said. Sonic then goes up to the coats and goggles and beanies that were hanging by some ski's. He puts one on him and hands the other to Tails. Once they are completely dressed we decide to go in. "Ok boys, stay behind me! We don't know who's in here so I'll go in first." I said as I walked up and opened the door.

As I walked in I immediately regretted coming in here. 'Oh no not another bar place' I mentally complained. Sonic and Tails looked around in fear as they saw the people. Soon the chef turns to us and cuts off the head of a fish that then falls right in front of us. Tails fainted. "Table for 3! Please!" Sonic chirps. I pick up Tails and walked over to the table the lady was guiding us to. We sit down and she places menu's? She speaks to us in Russian. Crap I don't know Russian! "Three beef stews please!" Tails said. Soon his gadget started talking back in Russian.  The lady grabs our menus again and walks off. "Woah Tails! That was so cool!" I exclaimed. "Yeah! Where did you get all these cool gadgets?" Sonic asks

"Oh. I invented them. That's kinda my thing." Tails says. "In fact my inventions is what lead me to you!" Tails says. "Remember the night at the baseball field? Your energy blast reached all the way to my home planet! I saw you save your whole village from that crazy mustache guy!" Tails exclaimed. "Wait so you've been watching me this whole time? Even in the shower.." Sonic trailed off nervously. "Hah! That's a trick question! Sonic the hedgehog prefers bubble baths." Tails says. "Man you're good!" Sonic says. I then lean over to Sonic. "I wonder if he's been watching us." I said. Sonic's face turned bright red for a split second.

"When I learned Knuckles was on your trail," Tails began. "I knew I couldn't simply sit back and watch anymore. I had to come warn you." Tails said. After Tails said that, Sonic's phone beeped signifying that he got a text message. "Oh what? Hold on one second. Donut Lord is checking in." Sonic said as he pulled out his phone and read his message. He soon then began to type. He then puts his phone away and the lady came back with our dished. Inside the bowls were tongues?? Ewwww! Tails gagged at the sight of it.

"Uh..I'm sorry but I asked for the beef stew." Tails said. His gadget then translated it to the woman. Though the woman didn't look happy. Instead she gave Tails a death glare as she spoke to us in Russian again. She then motions everyone in the place over to us. "Uh what's going on?" Sonic asked. "I have no idea but I get a feeling this is gonna end bad." I said. "Maybe they think it's my birthday?" Tails says nervously. "Don't worry I'll take care of this." Sonic said as he stood up from his chair.

"Ok everybody take it easy! I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason for what my friend said or did." Sonic said. Suddenly we heard beeping coming from Tails's gadget. It spoke in Russian and the people just gave a disgusted look. Two men then go up behind Tails and Sonic and they take off their jackets. I immediately stood up. They all gasped. "Uhh...meow?" Sonic said. One man then screams at the rest and they all cheer. Suddenly I see them grab Tails and Sonic.

"HEY WAIT STOP! DROP THEM RIGHT NOW!" I said as I ran over to the men who were carrying them. "AHHHH (Y/N)! HELP!" Sonic yelled. "(Y/N) HELP!" Tails whimpered. "GUYS THEY WONT LET ME THROUGH!" I saw them all gather up around the fire place. Suddenly it clicked in on what they were gonna do. "NO! STOP! DONT HURT THEM!" I yelled out. I heard Tails yell out something but I couldn't hear him since all the people around me were loud. Suddenly they stop what they're doing. I hear them whisper to eachother. They made a small path that made space for a guy who was sitting in a bar stool.
