MEANWHILE

Maddy's POV

"I miss Steph, what happened to her anyway?" I ask Hazel she just shrugs her shoulders "Let's hope she didn't turn into a fish" Ahmed says. I hit him on the arm "What? I was just joking. Here comes Chase anyways, so we can ask him." Pretty boy, better know where she is, Little bastard. "Hey, do you know where Steph is?" Hazel says with a worried look on her face. "Yeah, she's at home. She's got the flu or something." He says. "You can't look after her properly, I'll look after her." I say. "Look I get that she's your friend and all but still. She's my girlfriend and she'll pick me over you I bet you." He pulls out his hand to shake and I grin evilly and say while accepting the challenge "You're on." "You guys do realise this is a bad idea right?" Hazel says with a concerned face. "Yeah I agree with Hazel you shouldn't be doing this." Ahmed says. "Yes don't worry you guys she won't know I'll make sure of that." He says with a grin. That bastard, "No I will." I growl at him and he growls back. He's not afraid of me anymore damn it. The bell rings and I head off to class. "We'll see who wins." I say angrily. "Yes we will." He says while bitchy, smiling. He's such a bastard.

Fast forward to lunch. Hazel says "We need to head to the toilets now." "Why?" "I just got a text message from Steph saying 000." "Let's go. Ahmed come on, let's go." I say seriously. We run into Huddy and he said "Where are you guys going?" Shit think of something. "Oh, we're going to um the cafe." Ahmed and Hazel nod stupidly. They're blowing our cover "Oh okay, is something wrong?" "No, everything is fine." I grab Hazel and Ahmed's arm and we walk quickly to the toilets. We ring Steph and she answers in a very sniffly voice. It sounds like she's been crying, if Huddy has done anything I swear I'll do what I told him. "Hey, what's wrong?" Hazel says. "My life is ruined." Steph says in a shaky voice. "Did Huddy do anything to you?" I say in a very strong voice. "No, well sort." "Right that's it, Imma kill him now." "NO NO don't do that please." Steph says while crying. "Tell us, we're here for you." Ahmed says in a comforting voice "Ahmed thank god you're here two." She says in a weak voice. "Always here for you, you know that." He replies. "Well, that's why I rang." "Okay we're here and we're listening." I say so she knows I haven't gone off and killed the pretty boy yet.

"I"m........I"m.........I"m pregnant." My heart fell to the floor. I've been wanting to kill Huddy the whole time and she's been having other problems. Oh no, I"m going to be there for her no matter what. But I'm cancelling the bet Hazel is nearly crying and Ahmed looks shocked and angry. We're so shocked. "We're here for you no matter what, Okay." I say "Are you coming to school tomorrow?" Hazel asks "Yes I'll have to so I can get ahead so when I have ahhh." Steph then starts crying. "We get it you don't have to explain, have you told Chase?" I ask "No, I found out this morning." "Okay. well tell him when you're ready it'll only stay between us." "Okay, I'll go now. Love you guys." "Love you." Hazel Ahmed and I speak at the same time. We hang up and Hazel says "You're gonna call off the bet aren't you?" She says not surprised but still in shock. "Yes, it wouldn't be fair to poor Steph." Ahemd says "Good and you have to tell her about it as well." I nod and we both start crying so we hug each other. And Ahemd hugs us from the outside. Because our friend is well I can't even comprehend it. I wonder how she's probably feeling worse than us, the poor girl.

Fast forward to the end of the day 

Steph's POV

I'm still holding the pregnancy test, how the hell do I tell Huddy. Oh hey Chase just wanting to let you know that I'm carrying your child. I hear his car pull up, Lucario barks and runs to the door. I hear the door open and Huddy greeting Lucario. I run and hide the pregnancy test in the toilet bin, hoping he doesn't need to go pee first thing. I try to not look like I've been crying for the past 4hrs. And I haven't eaten anything all day and I'm so damn hungry I've never felt this starvation before I think it's the baby partly. So I grab some leftover Macca's still from our first date, it's not expired. I grab a huge amount of food and start eating. "Hey babe, wow that's even bigger than what you usually eat." "Hey and well I guess I'm really hungry today." I say while a bunch of food is in my mouth at the time. Yeah because you're carrying his child, Shut up innervoice. Hahaha, I hope he's dumb. He throws himself on the couch next to me and says. "Okay, so what do you want to do?" He asks while tracing his fingers around my leg. Which comforts me. "I don't know. What do you want to do?" I ask. "I wanna take you somewhere." He says. "Okay, where?" "It's a surprise." I roll my eyes and say. "Fine then, I'm not going." He smirks then he picks me up over his shoulders and I try to kick him but it doesn't work. "We'll be back, Lucario." "woof." He replies. Huddy then puts me in the car and I refuse to put my seat belt on, so he puts it on me. I cross my arms and pout like a child.

We started driving and now that my phone is connected to his car. I put on some music listening to billie eilish he starts laughing I say. "What's so funny?" He doesn't answer me. "Where here." He says. It says, private place V.I.P. Only I unbuckle my seat belt and like the gentleman he is, he opens the door. I step out and he holds my hand. I see a middle sized figure in the distance, the figure gets closer and. I sart crying, IT"S BILLIE EILISH OH MY FUCKING GOD. She comes up and hugs and says "It's okay." I tell her I'm one of her biggest fans and I know every single damn song she wrote. We chat and have so much in common. Eventually it's time to go. But she gives me her number if I ever want to talk. I thank her and hug her. I hug Huddy before we leave and say. "Thank you babe." "Anything to make my girl happy." He replies. He's the best, we arrive home and he straight heads to the toilet. Oh no did I leave the P.T in the toilet, God no I'm not prepared for this. Lucario comes running to me knowing that I'm getting anxious. I pick him up so I feel I have support.

"Steph?" "Yes?" "What's this?" He says in a very nervous voice, I look at what's in his hand. It's the P.T Oh god. He says "Are you pregnant?" he's looking at me with shook. The tears start rolling down my face. "Yes" I say and start crying. He sits down next to me. He pats Lucario, And says. "Hey it's okay." he hugs me and comforts me. "How long have you known?" "I just found out today." "It's mine right?" "Yeah, whose else would it be? I lost my virginity to you." I say. He hugs me and has a smile on his face saying "I've always wanted a kid, and the fact that you're carrying it is making me the happiest person on earth. You're gonna be a good mother. And I'll help look after the baby and you." 

I'm so grateful he's being positive about this, the thing I'm worried about is telling my family and his. They'll think I'm wasting my potential, I smile back silently and he asks. "What's wrong?" "Telling our families." "Don't worry about it babe, I'm sure they'll be supportive and besides my parents want grandchildren only thing is timing that's all." "How can you be so calm about this?" "Because it's you, you make me feel things I've never felt for anyone before I'm starting to think you're the one." He says this while looking into my eyes. He puts his hands on my stomach to protect me and the baby.
