"Did you find the information?" Arthit asked as soon as he spotted knot entering the room

"I did, his medical records are quite good, just the fact that he had a short memory loss a few years ago, due to a car accident, and it's around the time he left, the accident caused him to forget the most recent memories and affected no other part of his memories resulting in him forgetting you or anything related to you and that trip" knot explained, passing arthit the medical files

Arthit flipped through pages, reading it all rather attentively, his heart beating at an unusual speed, Kongpob met with an accident after he left arthit? And arthit never came to know about it?

Though his mind was a little clearer, he now knew why Kongpob didn't recognise him, the other wasn't just pretending, he genuinely didn't know him

"Will his memory not come back? Can we not try?" Arthit asked hopefully

"Well of course we can, the doctors never did because it would exert pressure on his mind and also the loss wasn't much, so they let him be" knot replied shrugging his shoulders

"What if try to help him catch up with everything? Will he be okay?" Arthit asked

"He will be okay, you just have to take it slow, step by step, don't rush, don't fill him with too much information at once, take it bit by bit" knot replied

Arthit nodded at his words, glancing at the medical reports, he wondered about the slow method he would have to use to bring Kongpob's lost memories back

Kongpob groaned, his head was throbbing and no painkiller seemed to work, since the minute he saw the photograph in his room and spoke a sentence about something he didn't know happened, his mind has been on a rollercoaster ride

A few other things have triggered his mind resulting in him remembering the most brief information about the things possible

Grabbing his little diary, kongpob flipped the pages, reaching on a fresh page, he placed the tip of the pen on the paper as he scribbled down the questions in his mind

Is my accident related to this memory loss?

Did I and arthit really love each other?

Did we ever stay in his mansion or was it just the three months as he said?

Is he a cruel person?

Did he really kill my brother?

What does Carlos have to do with all of it? Is it apparently just his obsession over me?

Rereading the questions, kongpob shut the book close, hoping for the answers to magically appear once he opens the book again

His mind wandered around again, thinking of all sorts of possibilities and theories he could apply to prove that the information that Carlos gave him was wrong

He didn't want to believe it, he didn't want to believe that arthit had killed his brother, he sure knew nothing about the other, but something in him told him that arthit couldn't be cruel, he wouldn't kill the innocents

The last few weeks that he spent in the mansion seemed like a nightmare, a horrifying one, the one that Kongpob wanted to escape, though there was one thing he waited for every day

The time when he stepped into Arthit's room, early morning and found him sleeping ever so peacefully, resembling a baby who had no worries

When Kongpob would wake him up, he would whine and snuggle deeper in his pillow and then act all rude to cover up his embarrassment once he woke up

Control yourself Kong, this isn't right Kongpob heard a voice from within him

"It isn't right" he repeated

"The wounds are very better, the one on your stomach would take a little while, the other ones seems to be fine" kongpob informed, applying an ointment on Arthit's wounds who hissed lightly due to the burning sensation

"When will I be able to work again?" Arthit asked

"If you mean killing people, then it will take time" kongpob replied, his face blank

Arthit let out a sigh, the junior was joining everything with just one thing, 'arthit killed his brother'

"Though, you know you have been ignoring the formal language lately" arthit pointed out, trying to maybe lighten the mood

"You will be fine soon, take frequent walks in the backyard and eat plenty of healthy food, it isn't that serious anymore" kongpob replied, completely ignoring his words before he walked away

Arthit's eyes followed Kongpob's retreating back, and once the other was out of sight, he fell back on the bed, shut his eyes close as he sighed yet again

"Would I need to find the answers to your questions to get you back? Or would I need to accept what knot says?" Arthit whispered to himself

"Sometimes people just aren't meant to be" knot mumbled
