"Can you act as my girlfriend for 3 months ?", Ashwin finally let it out after hesitating.
Sivaangi just stared at him in pure horror.
"WHATT ?!", she screamed once she understood what he said.
All the attention turned towards them. Ashwin covered his face with his hands.
"Aiyoo", he whispered.
"What did you just said ?", Sivaangi whispered back realising that all the eyes are on them.
"You heard me right", Ashwin said.
"But....what?...why ?", Sivaangi asked flabbergasted still in disbelief.
"All I can say is my family is pressuring me to get married and I need someone to act as my girlfriend to convince them for sometime", Ashwin said sipping his coffee.
"But why 3 months ?", Sivaangi asked, finally calmed down a little.
"That's probably enough time for me think of a permanent solutions", Ashwin said.
"Why don't you just get married then ?", Sivaangi asked.
Ashwin put his coffee cup back on the table and looked a little taken back.
Sivaangi patiently waited for his answer.
"Unakke sonna puriyathe", Ashwin said.
"Okay so let me get this right, you are offering me 3 million in exchange of me pretending to be your girlfriend for 3 months ?", Sivaangi asked a little skeptical.
"Absolutely, just 3 months and then you're free to go", Ashwin said immediately.
"I don't know, it seems a bit sketchy", Sivaangi said.
"You literally work at my company, you're my secretary and you basically know my whole bio data, what do you think might go wrong ? Just 3 months then nee yaaro naa yaaro and you could save your mother basically", Ashwin said.
"So what's the plan actually ? Like what do you need me to do ?", Sivaangi asked.
"I'll introduce you to my family as my girlfriend, you visit them, befriend my mom and idk just spend time with them ?", Ashwin said.
"That's all I need to do ?", Sivaangi asked.
"Literally that's all. So deal ?", Ashwin asked eagerly.
After thinking for a moment , Sivaangi finally nodded.
"Deal", Sivaangi said n
Ashwin smiled widely.
"Thank you thank you soo much", Ashwin said shaking Sivaangi's hands vigorously.
"But one condition", Ashwin continued.
"What's that ?", Sivaangi asked.
"Besides me and you, not a single sould should know about this", Ashwin said.
"Deal", Sivaangi smiled in relief.
