The Eight:Jang Wonyoung

"Huh?"

Am I going to debut solo?...

"After a lot of consideration, I and the board have decided that you have the skills we are looking for to join our rookie be boy group."

She stayed staring at the wall blankly until she processed what she just heard.
"WAIT- ME?"

"No my cat." He deadpans. Well he supposed a now a failed attempt at sarcasm, seeing as she still stood in shock.

'okay maybe she's a bit slow..' He thinks to himself before sighing

"Yes, I mean you."

She was stunned. Too stunned to speak.

"But...How? Actually now that i think of it again, what group"

"Enhypen."

"Those boys from I-land???

He just laughed
" What other rookie group do I have?"

Wonyoung just sat with her eyes open. She did it. She finally debuted...
You haven't debuted you're just in a group that's set to. That doesn't mean you will make it. Have you seen your dancing?

Her thoughts were once again -luckily-
Broken by many voices.

"Wonyoung, are you listening?"

She looked up to see seven boys now storing in the room with her. Only one was smiling...
I knew they wouldn't like you.
Stop talking to yourself weirdo, they might just be shy.

"Yeah. I hope so." She mumbled to herself.

...-Enhypen p.o.v-...

The seven had just been told that we have to go to a meeting. About their new members. A girl. No one knew how to react.

They walked into the room to see a girl with her head down, deep in thought.

"Even though I don't know what to think of this can admit- she's got the visuals" Heeseung  whispered to the group

"I agree, and that's coming from me so," Sunghoon admitted.

"Guys, can you PLEASE  stop talking," Jungwon uttered.

They soundlessly took their seats and stared at her.

"These are your soon to be members"

"Wonyoung are you listening?"

So that's her name.

The boys looked at her. Sunoo was smiling ear to ear. He had always wanted a younger sister and now he had a new member joining. Of course he was happy, it's not like he could ever keep his face straight if not in a music video. On the other hand, the rest of the boys looked like they were judging her. They weren't really, besides the analysing eyes of Jay who was still not judging, they were trying to seem serious.

"These are your new members. I have things to do so, I will let you get to know each other for the week. Make sure you still try practice though. And we will be announcing you to the fans soon. We will keep you updated on that. I'll be going now" he smiled and walked out of the room

..No p.o.v...

Despite being so nervous, Wonyoung introduced herself.

"Hi. I'm Jang Wonyoung."
(Please pretend the boys already introduced themselves because I cannot be bothered right now, sorry)  A/N:2024 me agrees with this attitude
