i planned to welcome her back from her mission but she came home early and showed up at my door instead. i was surprised when i opened the door and she started crying.
i took her inside and took care of her, keeping her close and hugging her tight. i rubbed her back and listened to her tell me anything and everything.
there was a lot on her mind.
and i was glad that she trusted me with it. and that she trusted me to see her like this. it was a different kind of side to her and i told her that i was here to take care of her.
she thanked me but i don't think she had to.
