she told a girl to go away

we went out for drinks--me, suguru, her, shoko, nanami and haibara. this was the first time in a while that our schedules aligned so we decied to celebrate it at a bar.

someone kept buying me drinks and i thought it was funny. i passed them all to haibara since i wasn't a that big on drinking.

but she didn't think it was funny. she was getting fidgety about it and kept pouting each time a drink we didn't order made it's way to our table. eventually she had to excuse herself and i caught her sit herself away from us at the bar.

i went up to her and flirted with her, treating her like i didn't know her and wanted to take her home, and it made her giggle. she played along and it looked like it made her feel better, especially when i asked if i could buy her a drink--specifically one of her favourite cocktails because "you look like a girl who'd like that. pretty drink for a pretty girl, you know?"

but then we were interrupted by a girl who had held onto my bicep for my attention. the girl said "excuse me?"

and she said it right back. "excuse me? he's busy flirting with me. go away."

and i laughed.

i liked her when she was fiesty. it was definitely the alcohol. but liquid courage wasn't actually enough for her to confess to me. i thought it might have hehe.
