Some time later, after I had made myself a burrito and finished off most of the editing I was putting off for a while, we had arrived at the location of the first gig which was scheduled for the following night. We wanted to get there a day early so we could start prepping and just getting a feel for what the typical day would look like.

After we had unloaded all the bags, we started taking most of our stuff like clothing and personal items to a nearby hotel which we would be staying in for the first night. We didn't have a huge budget, so we decided we were gonna get hotels on the very first and last nights kind of as a treat for all of us, rather than cramming into tiny bunk beds on the bus.

"Oh guys I forgot to mention, it's a first come first serve basis on the rooms", The boys manager said.

We all glanced at eachother, not one of us saying a word. Although no one said anything, we could all definitely tell that each one of us was trying to grab our stuff as quickly as we could so we could rush over to check the rooms out. We all began walking at quite a similar pace, dragging our heavy suitcases behind us and heading into whichever elevator we could find. Remington and I both ended up in the same elevator, both equally as determined to get the best room. I could tell he was drilling holes into the side of my head, but I wasn't going to let him distract me.

As soon as the elevator doors pinged open, we rushed out. We could see the other two boys at the other end of the hall heading in our direction. Once we found the rooms, I just dropped all my luggage in the hall and began searching for which room I wanted, with the other boys doing the same.

"I call dibs!", I yelled as soon as I opened the door to one of the rooms. All the boys came running over from wherever they were.

"Shit!", huffed Sebastian.

"Why do you think you get this room?", Remington narrowed his eyes at me, leaning against the door frame.

"Because, I called first dibs", I said smugly.

"She has a point", Emerson says.

Remington smirked, looking as if he'd just had some sort of stupid idea. He then ran straight for the bed, and before I could stop him, he threw himself face first into the silky sheets.

"Hey! I wanted to try the bed first!" I yelled, earning laughs from the other boys behind me. Remington seemed to make himself comfortable while closing his eyes, a wide smile plastered straight across his face.

"You think you're funny yeah?", I said with a hint of playfulness in my voice. Without giving him a chance to process what's going on, I ran for the bed and jumped straight on top of his stomach, wwe style, earning a painful sounding grunt from him.

"Get off me you fat pig!", he yelled trying to push me off.

"Make me", I blurted out, not realising how that sounded at first. He smirked as he looked up at me. Then with a swift motion he flipped us over, sending me crashing into a very compromising position as he pinned my arms beside me. Butterflies erupted  in my stomach and my breath hitched in my throat as his eyes pierced through me. I felt extremely awkward and couldn't get any words out. Just as I was about to make the situation possibly worse, someone cleared their throat and both mine and remington eyes snapped towards the sound.

Emerson and Sebastian were standing in the door way, looking very amused. They probaby saw the whole thing, I was so embarrassed. Remington quickly got off me, fixing his hair and clothes in the process.

"Whatever, you can have the room", he said as he walked past his brothers and back into the hall.

The other two just gave me a quick smirk before following Remington and going to look for another room. I let out a deep breath that I didn't know I was holding. I swear to god if I could get the ground to swallow me up now I would.

I went back to the hall and grabbed all my stuff, unpacking some of the more important things since we were only staying here for the night.

Sometime later, I heard a knock on the door and opened it to find Emerson waiting patiently.

"Hey Mia, we were just wondering, do you wanna grab some drinks and maybe come join us at the hot tub? Apparently they've got a huge one here"

"That sounds fun, I'll meet you there in a few", I said with a smile. He nodded, still standing there a little awkwardly.

"Was there something important you wanted to ask?", I prodded, seeing that there's clearly something bothering him. He didn't really say anything, just kinda looked at me a little lost. I quickly pulled him into my room, closing the door behind us.

"Talk to me Em", I said again.

"Ughhhh fine, I uh, I wanted to ask you something a bit stupid...", he trailed off, playing with his fingers, "Could I... possibly....get Elles number?"

My jaw dropped and I began squeeling like a little girl. I think I accidentally shook him a little too hard with my excitement, but I didn't care.

"I fucking knew you liked her", I said as he tried to cover his embarrassment, which obviously wasn't working.

"Please don't tell her", he begged.

"Of course I won't, now shut up and give me your phone", he handed it over without a second thought and I punched in my best friends number. He gave me a shy smile and thanked me. That shy little smile suddenly turned into a bit of a suspicious grin.

"So what happened earlier hmm?", he questioned and I narrowed my eyes at him trying to remember what he was on about. He pointed to the bed with his finger and suddenly it all clicked. I could feel my cheeks heating up as I tried thinking of an excuse.

"It was nothing", I tried to play cool but he obviously wasn't having any of it. Just as he was about to say something even more smug I opened the door and started to push him out of the room.

"Okay that's enough questions thank you bye bye I'm gonna get ready see you later go away blah blah blah", I said as I pushed him out of the door and slammed it shut. I could still hear him laugh as he walked down the hall.

Fuck you Emerson.
