I was woken up the next day with something extremely heavy being dropped on my small body. I let out an audible grunt as I attempted to open my eyes, coming face to face with a not so impressed looking Elle. Realisation soon hit me. I was supposed to meet her at the dessert place.

"Someone slept in for a while", she said very sarcastically.

"Fuck, I'm so sorry", I yawned and rubbed my tired eyes. Taking a glance at my clock, I realised I should have been at the café 40 minutes ago.

"I called you a few times", Elle pushed herself up off the bed, "When you didn't answer, I called your brother and he said you haven't even come out of your room, so now I'm here to get you"

I stretched my whole body out, pulling the covers off me and getting out of bed even though I really didn't want to. I probably forgot to set my alarm, but honestly I didn't care that much because I was getting dragged out of bed anyways.

Elle sat on my bean bag as she waited for me to finally get changed, brush my hair, and put on a tiny bit of makeup so I didn't look completely dead. I decided to play some music in the mean time while we chatted, and I was ready in about 30 minutes.

"Ready?", she asked and I just nodded, still yawning out of exhaustion.

We left the house and made our way towards the cafe we were supposed to meet at, which was around 10 minutes away by foot. The fresh scent of delicious sweets, ice creams and waffles quickly hit us as soon as we entered. The nice waitress welcomed us and directed us towards a quiet booth in the far corner, overlooking parts of the city. It wasn't exactly a fancy cafe, but it was very pretty and the food was amazing.

Once we looked through the menus, the waitress came over and took our orders. I decided on a caramel latte and a waffle topped with fresh strawberries and chocolate drizzle, while Elle ordered a hot chocolate and Nutella pancakes.

We chatted away for around 15 minutes when we finally saw our food and drinks being brought towards our table. Elles mouth was already drooling, she looked like a little puppy that was waiting very impatiently for her treat.

"I need to go to the bathroom", I said once we were given our food. I'm not even sure if Elle was listening because she was already digging in as if she hadn't eaten for a week.

Making my way out of our booth and towards the bathrooms, I was suddenly jerked back by my wrist, almost falling on the ground as I tried to catch my footing.

"What the hell", I said as I came face to face with a dodgy looking guy. He looked to be in his 40s, slightly balding, wearing blue jeans and a scraggy looking jacket.

"Hey darling", he said seductively while tracing his tongue along his teeth. I thought I was going to throw up there and then. I felt extremely uncomfortable, especially being in a slightly more secluded area, his hand still latching on to my wrist.

"What do you want?", I tried to hide my discomfort but the fear immediately rose as he smirked at me, looking me up and down.

"You", He whispered coming closer to my face. I tried to suppress the shivers that were going up and down my spine. I felt frozen, as if he had tied me to the ground with a chain. I felt like I couldn't even call for help.

"Leave me alone", I attempted to move but his grip on me tightened, my hand felt like it was losing circulation.

"Come on sweetheart, why don't you stop being difficult and-"

"Yo what are you doing? Get off her", another guy appeared from around the corner, a concerned look in his eyes.

"Who do you think you are?", the creepy guy challenged.
