Soul Eater: Creator Soul

Their name(for now) is Sebeir:

Soon after Maka and Soul came in, their friends came and joined the visit. All eight of the kids were interested in this new patient, especially considering that they weren't from Death City. As they went to introduce themselves, Nygus and the man with a screw went outside to talk. Liz, Kid, and Tsubaki were more calm in meeting this person. Patty and BlackStar however are really loud.

"Where are you from?!" BlackStar shouted, startling the patient. "Are you here to fight?! If so, you're going to have a hard time with me! I'm the biggest star there is!!"

"Hahaha!" Patty laughed. "You're so weird! What's your name?"

"BlackStar, Patty." Kid said, gaining their attention. "You're startling them."

"*huff* Fine." BlackStar grunted. He walked away with Patty, who was still giggling. Tsubaki came closer to the patient this time. The patient looked at her curiously.

"I'm sorry. BlackStar can be a bit energetic." She said gently. "My name is Tsubaki."

The patient smiled then. I like this girl. They thought.

"Nice to meet you Tsubaki." They said. Tsubaki then smiled. BlackStar spoke up again.

"My name is BlackStar!" he shouted. Kid sighed. "I am the star of this school. And I'm gonna surpass god!"

The patient just stared at him.

"Oookay?" They said. Kid now took his turn introducing himself.

"My name is Kid. And these two are my partners." He gestured to Liz and Patty. "Liz and Patty."

"Are you both sisters?" The patient asked.

"Yeah. How did you know?" Liz asked. The patient shrugged.

"You both have a lot of similarities. Despite the personalities." They continued. "It's really common among siblings, you know?"

"Whoa. It looks like we got an egghead. Like Maka!" BlackStar said. Maka gave him a chop.

"No...? I'm just very observant." They said. BlackStar rubbed his head where a bump started to form. Then, further in the back, the patient noticed Crona, who was fidgeting nervously. "And who are you?"

Crona looked up, startled. He didn't think they'd notice him. How did they notice? He thought. I didn't do anything to call attention to myself. I don't know if I can handle this.

"Hey." The patient said gently. "I don't bite. Come over here."

They lifted their hand, gesturing for Crona to come over. His mind didn't want to come over, but his heart told them to come. Slowly, but surely, Crona made their way next to the patient. He put his hand on theirs. The patient smiled slightly.

"You're a shy one, huh?" They said, a little amused. "Could you tell me your name?"

"C-c... it's Crona." He stuttered. Then, the patient's eyes sparkled.

"Crona, huh? Like a crown?" They said. Crona looked surprised. He never thought of his name like that. He smiled a small smile as he nodded.

"Yeah, I think so." He replied. They both looked at each other for a little bit, before Nygus and the screw man came back inside the office.

"Alright, Mr. Stein and I discussed some things for you." Nygus said, talking to the patient. "We're going to bring you to Lord Death to see what we need to do with you."

"Lord.... Death?" The patient asked nervously.

"There's no need to be worried." Mr. Stein said. "Lord Death isn't evil. You'll see soon enough."

"O-Okay..." they said, shaking a bit. Crona looked at them before taking their hand. They looked at him.

"I know you're scared. I was too." he said as if trying to reassure the patient. "But Lord Death isn't actually bad.... I promise."

The patient looked at him, then nodded. Slowly, they got up out of the bed. Their legs wobbled a bit before Maka rushed over to stop them from falling. A short second, and with Maka's help, they stood up better.

"Okay," they said. "I'm ready."

It took a little while before they all got to Lord Death's door. Once they got there, they entered the room, where the hall waited for them to walk through. As they walked, Maka decided to talk to Crona about his reassurance to the patient.

"Hey, Crona." Maka whispered, gaining their attention. "When you comforted them, that was really brave of you. Good job."

"O-Oh!" they whispered back. "It was nothing, really. I just felt like.... I could relate to them. I don't know.... I mean, I felt their soul was terrified. Like it was locked in place."

"Locked in place?" Maka asked. "What do you mean, Crona?"

"It felt frozen." They replied. "As if from fear. So, I chose to follow your example, Maka. When you helped me."

"Hm.... I'm... I'm glad about that, Crona." Maka finished, as she thought. Locked in place, huh? Maybe I should check in on their soul. With that, she switched to "soul vision". She saw Soul's, BlackStar's, Tsubaki's, Liz', Patty's, and Kid's. Not the ones she wanted to see. She looked further ahead to where Nygus and Stein were, with the patient. Nygus' and Stein's souls were bright, almost blocking out the patient's soul. But once she saw it, she understood what Crona meant. The soul of the patient was tightly bound, as if something was forcing it to stay quiet and still. Maka frowned a little.

"Interesting." She muttered. Soul looked over this time.

"What's interesting?" He inquired. Maka looked at him.

"Nothing." She said. "I just..."

"Hiya!! Hello! How are you doing this afternoon?" shouted a familiar voice. Maka looked ahead to see the patient leaning back a bit from Lord Death's welcome. She smirked slightly as she followed behind the others to be in the same room.

"So you must be the patient that Soul and Maka have found?" He said. The patient looked surprised.

"H-How... How did...?" They stammered. Lord Death chuckled a bit.

"I have watched Soul and Maka in their battle." Lord Death answered. "It helps that there's plenty of reflective spaces."

".....ah." the patient acknowledged.

"Now." Lord Death continued. "What is your name, young one?"

"Um... I don't know." They answered. Lord Death nodded.

"Hm. Where did you come from?" He asked next. The patient thought for a little bit before answering this time.

"It's all fuzzy, but I remembered walking a long distance." The patient continued. Lord Death nodded.

"I see." Lord Death said to himself. "Well, do you know where you're going? Any idea on what you're planning?"

The patient remained silent for a moment.

"I... I honestly don't know." they said. "I'm just wandering... aimlessly."

They looked down for a moment, as if in shock or something. The group looked at them a little concerned before Lord Death spoke up.

"Alright. I've made my choice." He said. Everyone looked at him in confusion, including the patient. "Until you can remember everything that you can, you will stay here as a student."

"Wha– REALLY?!?!" exclaimed BlackStar. "Just like that?!"

"I also admit that I'm confused as well, father." Kid admitted. The patient looked at Kid before glancing back at Lord Death.

"There isn't much we can do at this point." He explained. "They will have to stay. And since they are of the right age, they can learn. I can feel the potential in their soul, as well."

He looks at the patient. His aura seemed warm and welcoming to them. They relaxed.

"And your name," He continued. "For now, is Sebeir."

The now named Sebeir stared in wonder for a second before smiling.

They like that new name.
