Chapter 3

                     July 10, 2020

         I woke up to Pope banging on the door at 7am. Nobody was getting up and Pope kept banging on the door.

"FUCK, GIVE ME A MINUTE" John B yelled as he opened his door and walked towards to front door.

"Yes sweetheart" he said as Pope pushed past him.

"Wake up, we got a big day ahead of us today and you're not missing school for nothing," he said, clapping his hands. Kiara walked in and turned the lights on but they didnt turn on.

"Oh yeah I forgot to tell you we had a storm last night and lost all electricity" Pope replied.

"That would have been nice to know 2 seconds ago, before I tried to turn the lights on," Kie said.

I sat up and rubbed my head, I walked in the bathroom and got my extra change of clothes. Of course we have no electricity so I got changed in the dark. I put on a black bikini with a red shirt and blue shorts, along with my red hightop converse. I walked out of the bathroom and saw everyone in their usual wear. Maggie had jean shorts on with a red bikini underneath her tank top.

The storm last night really did some damage. There were trees that had been pulled from their roots, laying on their side. And Tree branches, wood and sticks were everywhere surrounding every inch of the ground. JJ walked towards the kitchen and grabbed a beer.

"Isn't it too early to drink?" I questioned as JJ turned around after taking a swig of his drink.

"It's never too early for beer," he responded as Maggie walked out the room taking a swig of his beer.

"Hey" he responded as she smiled at him.

"Ready?" John B asked.

"Yep" Kiara said as we all walked outside.

We all got on the boat. Pope started looking at the key.

"Honestly it looks like one of those motel keys".

"Like the one we call the Meth Motel" JJ said joking around.

"Oo I hope we actually find meth there" Maggie replied as everyone looked at her.

"Yea that one" Kie said as John B started driving there.

We reached the 'Meth' Motel and JJ hopped out tying the boat. Everyone looked at the damage the motel got from the hurricane last night

"This place is a shit show" John b said.

"This Motel literally looks like it sells drugs," Pope replied.

"I want drugs," Maggie responded, getting excited.

"Aggies a motherfucker bro, you don't mess with her" JJ said shaking his head.

"Who's going in?" John b questioned.

"You and JJ," Kie responded.

"What why?" Jb said.

"WHY ME" JJ said pointing to himself.

"Because if JJ goes hes gonna do something dumb, and John B has to be the hero to make JJ not do something dumb," I said as JJ stuck his tounge out at me.

"Partners in crime" Maggie said as Pope smiled.

"Fine".

They both hopped off the boat. I walked over to Jb because he forgot his phone on the chair.
