Katnip (Karkat x Nepeta)

Chapter 7: halloween???

Your name is karkat and today is halloween! Your somewhat excited for tonight, your friend Sollux's dad is out of town and he is throwing a small party! You go to Nepeta's house to pick her up for a trip to the mall.

Wow you guys are total procrastinators! You reach her house and knock on her door and you look up as her mom answers the door wearing her cat ears and the same shirt Nepeta wears but with a collared shirt under.

She yells a little loud "Nepeta! Mewr booyyfrrriii33nnndd is here!!" She said that extra slow and stretched out, you suppose out of mockery. You see Nepeta come downstairs and make some weird symbols to her mom and walks outside and hugs you.

"WHAT WAS THAT?" "What karkitty?" She looks at you innocently confused with her head tilted, "WITH YOUR HANDS" you see her eyes widen "oh yea! That... She's... Deaf." You look at her "WHAT!? WHOA, HOW DID IT HAPPEN?" She looks to the ground "karkitty, I'd rather not talk about it..." You shrug "OH, SORRY... LETS GO THEN."

You begin to walk signaling your hand in a circular motion forward ending off pointing ahead of you, you look back and see her with her arms out "piggy back ride" she giggles.

You roll your eyes smirking slightly, you reverse back and squat down slightly with your hands near your lower back open to catch her. She jumps on quickly rubbing her cheek affectionately against yours. It basically makes your face swish all over the place.

You chuckle lightly and begin to walk as she holds onto you tightly. You carry her for about a block and then set her down breathing heavy and leaning with your hands on your knees trying to catch your breath.

She giggled and walked with you the rest of the way to the mall. You first go with her to look for her costume. You can't believe what her costume is. Its completely unexpected! You never saw it coming!!

It was a cat... You honestly don't have a problem with it but you just found how obvious it was gonna be kinda funny. You next go look for a costume for you. You couldn't find anything in a set that you liked so you looked around and made your own outfit.

It was pretty cool to honest, it was this red hoodie but the hoodie was at the same time like a cape. It had a like symbol in the center that looked like a really bad open scar with blood dripping down. Also with these matching pants and shoes.

You purchase the cloths with Nepeta and go back to your place, you felt there was no purpose on dropping her off to pick her up and drop her off again later. Plus she brought everything she would need for the whole day.

(Nepeta's POV)
You just walked in Karkat's house "where is mewr bathroom?" He turned to you and pointed to the hallway "TWO DOORS DOWN AND TO THE LEFT." You nod and walk down the hallway.

You are kinda nosey when you see the first door slightly open, you peek your head through the little opening and see a bunch of movie posters on the walls, they were... Well you suppose the movies were, pretty good.

You shrug when you realize its karkat's room and walk over to the next room. You whisper "wow, i never knew karkitty was a diehard for all these romcom's." You giggle and go to the bathroom to change.

You quickly change and then walk outside to see that karkat was standing out there ready, you walk up to him and put your cloths in your bag. "Aren't mew hot that? I mean it's fine fur school but Pawllux's house is four blocks down!" He shrugged "winter is coming early this year." you look up as you think for a moment. "That is true..." You grab a jacket "ok well we only have an hour."

His eyes widen "OH YEAH! OK YOU WANNA GET A BITE TO EAT OR SOMETHING? HE PROBABLY IS GONNA SERVE SOME SHITTY STUFF THERE, TRUST ME I'VE BEEN TO HIS HOUSE."

You shrug "sure." You and him walk over to the subway three blocks down "really karkitty? Subway!?" He rolls his eyes "YOU HAVE A BETTER IDEA?" He smirks slightly, you look down and sigh. You walk inside with him and get a plain six inch Italian on white bread since you were kinda hungry, but honestly there was no way in the world you could finish the foot long right now like karkat.

He must've been quite hungry, you and him walk outside to a table and enjoy your tasty subs. You and him finish pretty quickly and he puts the little leftover he had left in his pocket and you both walk over to Sollux's place.

You see a little sign above his door 'hive sweet hive' he's really into bee's, he's weird... At least kittens are cute! You see lights flashing from the windows lighting up the neighborhood.

You knock on the door and Sollux opens it wearing his silly dorky bee outfit. "Oh hey Jacka22, Nepeta. Come iin!" Karkat rolled his eyes as he walked in holding your hand. You see a bunch of different sections with many people "HEY SOLLUX WHY ARE ALL THESE NINTH GRADERS HERE!? AND WHY ARE THEY SPIKING THE PUNCH? THEY LOOK REALLY HIGH!!" Sollux hops next to you and karkat putting his weight on karkat for a minute.

"Oh kk, kk ii know people that know people! Ju2t chiill out! Also make 2ure not to LO2E YOUR HAND2!! A lot of 2neaky ba2tard2!" He sighs as sollux slowly walks away almost tripping with each step, karkat sighed "HE'S FUCKING HIGH..."
