Kindness and strength learned from her mother,
Stubbornness inherited from her father;
Unseen illness brought on by life.
Add in stories of heroes and magic,
From Wonder Woman to Nancy Drew;
To fairies and far away places.
Teach her to stand up for injustice.
Give her understanding and patience,
Also add in anxiety to make things interesting.
Put her in a place where she shouldn't thrive,
Make her unique, and almost odd
Add in trauma to the mix‒
But let her excel despite it.
This will be an interesting creation,
To see how the mix of ingredients, creates a young woman
Who will appear most ordinary, but hopefully,
Can grow to do most extraordinary things.

De TodoI took a creative writing class back in my first year of college and thought I would post some of the works here to share with some friends and anyone who might need a time killer. They're nothing amazing but enjoy nonetheless!
