While you watch everything burn to the ground;

And your hope begins to crumble as well,

You may just discover something profound–

That could allow your morale to swell.

For when you fall you have to ascend,

Like a phoenix can rise from the ashes.

Your inner battles are not a dead end,

You can survive your hardest patches;

But this is not an easy feat for all,

Remaking yourself after you've broken.

Walking again with your head held tall,

Like the words that hurt you, haven't been spoken.

And like a champion you thrive in war,

So you will smile again as you did before.

AN: This is my least favorite thing that I've ever had to write in my life. I will never attempt this style of writing again it was a great learning experience but no thank you props to you if you do this on the regular :)
