First of all, if you've come here to participate, Thank you! And second of all, I'd like to quickly breakdown a brief idea of the novel so you know, what you're participating in, is something you're interested in!

Synopsis:
Marian, a young woman with many passions to travel and advance her knowledge of the world, begins her journey just before Christmas when she receives an early gift; a bus ticket. Her journey begins with bus rides out from the dirty side of the city she lives, and through towns nearby. It's short lived though when snowy weather has her blocked in a small quiet town, where she meets a friendly Bookkeeper, Nathan, at a little corner library. The two start off as strangers, but in no time, gain the interest of one-another rather quickly. The cute and innocent interaction is quick to take a turn when the friendly Bookkeeper appears to not be the adoring man she thought him to be. Finding herself unable to leave, Marian becomes trapped within the small walls of the library, smothered by fairytales and the nightmare whom she calls Nathan.

So- the Novel will revolve around Mystery, Romance, and Psychological fiction.

It's inspired by Robert Downey jr's character, Nathan Gardner, in the movie Charlie Bartlett!
(Disclaimer: I'm only using this character to inspire my visual writing of the main character! He will not actually be written to be the Nathan from the movie!)

In this novel, he will be the main character who is a  middle aged man that owns and lives in his own little corner Library. Well-kept and filled with fairy tales, but is run down due to the location. Living in a small town in-between larger cities where the majority of people moved off to, basically leaving him in a rundown town with few older folk and occasional travellers.

The other main character will be a younger woman who, you the reader, will follow in the beginning, and see how she comes to meet him. She's got a passion to travel, explore and learn, and during her journey from leaving home, she meets a nice man whom she acquires a quick trust and slight fancy to.

Though I have this as a romance, it's much more darker than that, and things become entwined with Subtle hints of stock Holme syndrome, but that's still to be determined.

Now that you have a little idea of what I'm aiming for, the next couple chapters I post at some point will most likely be around these topics!

(I'd also like to make a note that I don't plan on writing Nathan as a truly dark character, more so a lonesome, strange man who finds himself acting quick to his intrusive thoughts, and can't seem to let go of the one person he truly is interested in this world)

Anyways! I'll post random chapters and random times asking questions to get ur opinions or to get votes, if you have any questions already about the book, feel free to comment or message anytime!
