Y/N was up now he was used to getting up this early in the morning. He sat on the bed as he recalled the previous night. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't giddy. He brought his hand up to his lips and would smile a little.

Y/N stretched before standing up and leaving his room. Y/N went over to Team Ruby's room and knocked on the door.

Yang opened the door.

"It's Y/N! Hey Y/N."

"Hey."

"What do you need from us beautiful ladies this early in the morning?"

"Just checking on Ruby."

"Wanna come in? We were about to open something our dad sent us from home."

"Sure."

Y/N stepped into the room.

"Hey Y/N." Ruby said

"Hey Ruby."

"I know what will cheer you up." Yang said

"What is that?"

"I don't know yet. Dad sent it to us I thought we could open it together."

"Ooh something from home!" Ruby squealed as she used her semblance and flew onto Yang's back and started rapidly reaching for the thing.

The thing in the container fell out and rolled on the ground... Before reforming into a dog.

"Zwei!" Ruby said jumping in the air triumphantly.

"...Your dad just mailed a dog to you..."

"Oh, he does stuff like this all the time."

"Your father or your dog?" Blake asked from atop Ruby's bed.

"Are you telling me that this mangy, drooling, mutt... Is going to wive wif us foeva, oh yes, he is, yes, he is!" Weiss said in a cutesy voice.

"Please keep him away from my belongings."

"I still don't know what to think about this entire situation... It's so weird... Who mails a dog to someone...?"

"Would all first-year students please report to the amphitheater."

"Well, we can't exactly leave him here while we're gone for a week."

"Look, there's a letter! Dear girls I've got to leave the island for a few days, so I'm sending Zwei to you to take care of enclosed is all the food you should need, love you both, Taiyang."

Yang turned the thing upside down and then fell multiple cans of food... And a can opener.

"Welp, that settles it come on girls and Y/N, Zwei will be here when we get back."

Yang left and so did Weiss after talking to the dog in a cutesy voice Blake leapt from Ruby's bed onto the desk and left and Y/N just walked out still confused on who the hell mails a dog to someone.

Ruby looked at Zwei thinking before she had an idea...
