Chapter four•

Time pov∆

It's a not very well known fact, that sometimes fate prepares you for terrible situations by giving you wonderful memories. It's possible that when all is going well with you that something terrible is about to take place so be careful with how you let your guard down during good days.

About fifty years before the prophecy of flames was revealed to TRODUO, the supernatural world and its creatures had been in a mood of constant celebration and merrymaking there was always a reason to gather around a burning fire and drink eal and pixie brue, these such parties took place mostly in the woods and were often attended by creatures of all kinds, even humans, often humans who attended such parties had some connection to the supernatural or were runaway slaves from Some human land.
It was at this party that Afa Mikei Afa King of the werewolves met his Tarian.
Before that wonderful day according to Mikei, he had been against the idea of merging his soul with another person, his pops the Former Afa king had been miserable after his ma died in a rogue attack, the former Afa threw himself into a huge river where his wife's ashes had been scattered and joined her in casaria.
Mikei believed that a Tarian was a secured one-way ticket to an early death.
So he refused to choose a person of interest and try out a Tarian with them, his plan was simple if he ever passed away due to an attack or his own bad decisions his beta Sentic was to replace him as King until another Afa was born.
I guess it's true what they say a man can only plan but the fates decide.
Mikei together, with his lifelong friend and Beta Sentic, had attended the wood party like they did every year with some interested pack members, Sentic with his wife and husband, Mikei usually went with any wolf person of interest but on this particular night, he went alone to avoid starting a conflict if he found someone more interesting then his current fuck buddy.
Sentic and his partners had gone off to drink and interact with other people, Mikei was still on the search for his next conquest when he spotted a very interesting person who immediately spiked his interest, Mikei took one more look at the person and decided his search for the night was over. The person had lengthy black hair with a cute little round face that housed beautiful pair of the most brownish eyes he had ever seen a cute pointy nose and full pouty lips that just seemed to be inviting  Mikei to take a bite "whoever this person is there must be punished for looking so dame edible"  Mikei promised as he approached the cute looking person as he drew closer he observed that cute person possess both feminine and masculine traits and that only increased his newfound interest for the cute stranger. " dame you look even more lovely up close" Mikei said now standing in front of the cute person. Wondering if there was a person behind them that the sun God in front of them was talking to the cute person looked behind, beside themselves before turning back to address Mikei "you're talking to me?" The cute guy asked searching Mikei's face for the punchline " yes you must tell me what herbs you treat your hair with I have tried everything to make mine as slick as yours Is but nothing works" Mikei grumbled, jealous at the state of his hair compared to that of the cute person. cute person giggled at the look on Mike's face and this was the point when a non-believer was shown the beauty that makes a tarian worth dying with.
"Am Mikei a werewolf" Mikei extended his hands to the cute person, am Deriani a human pleasure to meet you wolf Mikei?" Deriani said taking Mikei's hand in his own Mikei smiled and brought Derian's fingers to his lips and kissed each knuckle with his eyes looking into the other person's eyes.

And that was the beginning of a beautiful love story that lasted fifty years.
