"Ughh.. school..." I said as i turned off my alarm and lazily got out of bed. Walking to my closet to take my uniform and swiftly grabbing my backpack.

"Bye mom," I yawned.

"Goodbye kids, Have fun!" Guizhong smiled, waving at both of us. Xiao waited for me to put on my shoes as he leaned in to take my hand and start walking quickly.

As we both finally made it to school, we were immediately showered with greetings from the other students. Well, by other students, it was mainly just my friend, Hu Tao.

"Y/n~! Over here!" the brown-haired girl shouted, cupping her face as she waved around to catch my attention.

"Hey, Tao!" I shouted back with enthusiasm, running towards the female figure to give her a warm hug.

I gave an understanding look to my brother and gave him a sweet smile, followed by an awkward thumbs up. He chuckled, smiling back at me as he left to walk to class.

Hu Tao quickly interrupted the moment, "Soo did you hear? There are some new students coming~! Hehe, I'm so excited to make new friends!"

I gave a slight smile to the excited girl. "I'm sure they'll be fun. But we should get to class before we're late," I teased, looking at her shocked expression as she realized the time. I managed to grab Hu Tao's hand in a rush and took the both of us to class as fast as I could.

We both sat down neatly, shrugging off the previous moment. We greeted the teacher and took out our essential school needs.

"Good morning, everyone!" the teacher interrupted. "Well, I am sure you are all aware of the new students joining us for the second semester. That being said, let's all get to know them and give them a friendly welcome!"

The first student stood up; she had dark blue hair and a soft smile. "Hey, everyone! Nice to meet you! My name is Xiangling! I'm a chef from Liyue!"

"I'm Sucrose, a biology student from Mondstadt," the second girl said.

The next student was familiar. He had platinum blonde hair with a red streak. "The name is Kaedahara Kazuha. I am a beginner in poetry, and I seek adventure wherever I go."

Hu Tao and I were both equally shocked, but she seemed more pleased than I would've imagined. She couldn't help but look at me with a smug grin plastered on her face. "Hey, Y/n! It's your old cru-" "Shut it," I put my hand over her big mouth.

"I am Albedo, the chief alchemist of the Knights of Favonius," the blonde boy said.

"My name is Kamisato Ayaka. Daughter of the Kamisato clan, delighted to make your acquaintance."

"Greetings, everyone! As for I! Fischl! The Prinzessin der Verurteilung, descend upon this land by the call of fate! May the glory of the Prinzessin bring light upon this world!" The last student posed as all the other students chose their seats.

"Wow, she seems pretty fancy..." I whispered to Hu Tao. Before I could notice, Sucrose had already walked up and took a seat next to me. "Hello, uhh, may I sit... here?"

"Oh, of course you can! Little Y/n could use some more socializing~!" Hu Tao cheered as she nodded and smirked at Sucrose.

"So, I'm guessing your name is Sucrose?"

"Yes, it is indeed, and you're Y/n and...?"

"My name is Hu Tao~!" she exclaimed, barely letting Sucrose finish her sentence.
