It's my first day at Oakgrove middle school and to be honest I'm very nervous since I'm starting this year with no friends at all. I just moved from LA to Concord since my dad got a job here which he said that would pay him better than his old job. he also promised a better life than we had in L.A but doesn't really change the fact that I miss my friends.
Now that I think about it, it's not just my first day at this school but also my first day of 8th grade!
Hopefully I can make friends at this school!
"Margareth!" Dad shouted from the kitchen
"Coming dad!" I said while finishing doing my hair I put a cute flower pin on my hair and walked out of my room to the kitchen
"Hurry up you're gonna be late! you haven't even had breakfast yet child!" He said while serving my food on a plate
"Sorry dad...I'm just a little nervous" I said looking down not feeling hungry at all.
"Don't be! your going to be fine and I bet your gonna make a lot of friends" he said with a big smile on his face.
"I hope so." I looked down at my feet not feeling confident at all.
"I'm sorry..." dad grabs my hands while apologizing.
"For what?" I asked worried since I've never seen him this upset before
"I just randomly bring you to a place you've never been to I just- I bet your mother would dissagree if she was here with u-"
I quickly inturupted him not wanting to see my dad cry "Dad! it's fine! really you just want the best for us I understand!"
I hug him tightly while trying not to cry
Dad just smiles and hugs me tightly
"I love you so much"
"I love you too dad."
Dad checks his watch and notices you're late for school
"AH SHIT WE ARE LATE WE GOTTA GO QUICK!"
He said while running out the door while freaking out
"COMING!"
Margareth shouted as she runs to get her backack from her room and runs to the kitchen to drink her orange juice quickly.
BEEP !BEEP!
Margareth runs to her dad's car as he honks at her to hurry
" I'm coming" 2X
she said in a rushed, Once she got in the car she quickly puts on her seatbelt while her dad drives as fast as possible 10 minutes later they got to make it to school on time.
Margareth abviosly nervous gets off the car hesitlantly. once she was off the car her dad puts his car window down
"Don't be nervous you got this ! you'll make plenty of friends I'm sure of it! "
He said trying to seem encouriging as possible but honesty he was also worried how shcool was going to go for her.
"thanks dad get home safely."
" I will don't worry have a great day, goodbye"
he said while smiling at her
" bye..."
she said as she starts walking into the shool and her dad drives off
Margareth goes inside the school and looks for the office once she finds it she goes in and ask for her scheduel
She gets her scheduel and starts looking for her first class around the campus which was P.E
" P.E for first Period?!"
what? I haved never had P.E for 1st and I hoped I would never get P.E for 1st ugh seems like my First day of school is already going not so good she thought to her self
I looked for the gym after 5 minutes of looking for it I finnaly found it before entering I fixed my hair and straighen my clothes and back
once I open the door to enter the I see a basketball flying up in the air and goes straight to the entrance to which hits me straight in the face
