Jerome's POV
I was panicking. My house was burning, the stranger hadn't woken up and I was in the middle of nowhere. I had one option, to shout for help, so I did. It was the first time I'd shouted like that in a while. Sadly no one would have heard it, I didn't think so at least. Here I was, this was it, my final five minutes.
Lachlan's POV
I heard a shout for help and woke up suddenly, Vikk still sleeping. I would hate to wake him up but I didn't have a choice. "Vikk." I whispered. "Wake up." He slowly opened one eye and looked at me confused for a second before realising what had happened. "Good morning, Lachlan." He mumbled "why did you wake me up?" I explained everything to him and we agreed to head out to where I heard the scream. He climed on my back and I flew towards the place I thought the scream was.
"LOOK!" Vikk yelled pointing to the left. I followed his gaze to see a burning building Weird, I thought. There is no reason for this building to be on fire. Shaking my head I flew towards the strange construction.
Once I was close enough to get a better look I saw a strange creature holding something in his... paws? I flew towards him and we yelled "HEY! UP HERE!" The creature's head snapped upwards, looking at us in pure shock. His eyes widened as I flew closer reaching out to him. He grabbed my arm and I flapped my wings desperately, trying to go upwards. Vikk tried as well. The strange fluffy creature even flapped his arms (A/N Yes, I know he has wings but he can't fly, they're too weak to so much as get him off the ground) but it was useless. We weren't strong enough. We were all coughing from the smoke, I felt like I was going to pass out. As my vision faded I heard a shout. And we fell to the ground. Everything went black.

I FINALLY DID IT!
I don't have time to write a long note here because this was typed on a bus. 5 buses actually.
Just a note I'm probably going to have lots of time on my hands because I have to revise for a test. I'm not going to though, priorities
I'll start an update book when I get home but for now I gotta go.
