I dashed away from the group, hoping that they didn't find it too suspicious. If they found out they would kill me and if that happened...That would not end well.
Lachlan's POV
None of us knew quite what was going on with Vikk so we agreed to keep an eye on him. We chatted for a while and in half an hour, I felt like I knew them better that anyone. I brought this up and they agreed, but I noticed a look of fear flash on Mitch's face. Jerome must have seen it too because he looked at him, concerned.
"You okay biggums?"
"Yeah...Wait biggums?"
"Yeah..."
A small conversation sparked between the two then it clicked.
"#MEROME!" I thought out loud...Wait out loud sh!t they're gonna think I'm a weirdo.
"Uhh...What?" Asked Jerome.
"#Merome. Mitch, Jerome, Merome. It just works okay?" I replied.
"Uhh..." Mitch muttered "Isn't that how ship names work?"
"Yep, that's why I did it."
Thier cheeks turned to shocking shades of crimson. I chuckled, this is gonna last, I just know it.
And done.
Well... this happened.
I wanted to get a chapter done and didn't want to go all out story revealed so have a filler chapter for now. I promise that the next chapter will hold something in terms of story and character development but for now I need to sleep. I have school in 3 hours.
