Loki came into concisnous hearing a cry from a little his little, he groggly got out bed slicking his hair back away from his face and stretching his stiff muscles
The god walked to your nursery pushing the slightly opened door further walking into room he saw your face tearfulled and red
You shook the bars of the crib hands gripping it tightly for support, your cries quietened down seeing a tired Loki enter the room
You made grabby hands towards him begging him to pick you up and make you feel better. Your head was throbbing you couldn't breathe threw your nose and you throat was scratchy
"Sssh Little one"
Loki tried to sooth you but you cried louder making him sigh and pick you up, he frowned feeling how warm you were, feeling your forehead with his cool hand making you lean into him for comfort
Deciding your temperature was abnormal Loki decided that bringing you to Bruce despite his fear of the man was the best option seeing how he didn't know much about mortals bodies or how they worked

After a quick diagnosis and some prescribed medication from Bruce, Loki finally knew what was wrong with you and took you back to your shared apartment in the tower
Loki walked with you in his arms holding you against his chest humming and bouncing you gentle in kitchen as he prepared something called oatmeal
You gentle sucked on the pacifier given to you carelessly looking around the kitchen listening to the song Loki was currently humming, you feeling slightly better after the icky medicine that was given to you by Bruce
All peace was broken when Thor walked into the room speaking in a loud booming manner making both you and Loki cringe for different reasons
"Brother ,N/n !"
You whined Thor's voice was too loud making your head feel worse, small tears from the pain welling up in your eyes
"Thor you big idiot stop being so loud" Loki hissed cradling your head so it covered your ears
"Why I'm just greeting you" Thor said confused
"Get out Thor I am busy" Loki replied clearly annoyed
"But Broth-!"
"Out Thor"
Green eyes glaring at Thor, who got the message and left to go to the common floor of the tower. Loki sighed looking down at your face once again tearfulled
"Sorry my Little prince, let's eat shall we"
Loki didn't wait for you to respond taking you to couch with oatmeal in his hand . Resting on the couch he adjusted to lean against his chest
Picking up the bowl Loki held a spoon full of oatmeal to mouth, you blinked at the food not interested in it you turned your head away
"Little one please eat" Loki sighed when he got nothing more than bable in response
Realising you were probably to young to really eat anything solid Loki appeared a warm bottle of milk into his hands holding it up to your mouth
You took the bottle into your mouth suckling it slowly, you stared up at Loki with a blank expression while he hummed the song he's been humming all morning
Slowly you reached out and played with Loki's hair making him smile down at you, his hand holding you to his chest rubbed your stomach
Once the bottle was done Loki placed you his knee sideways supporting your head and started bouncing you, after you burped he wiped spit up that was left
You felt better your throat was no longer scratchy and you could breathe threw your nose again but your head was still throbbing making you uncomfortable
Whining at Loki to make you feel better you started crying at the uncomfortableness.
"Sssh Prince it's will be okay"
You stuffed your face into Loki's shoulder and angrily babbled into his shirt, he continued to sway you from side to side, starting to sing to you in soft tones causing you cries to quiet down
"Lavender blue dilly dilly Lavender green When I am king dilly dilly You shall be queen
Who told you so dilly dilly Who told you so T'was my own heart dilly dilly That told me so..."
His chest rumbled slightly as he sang the soft notes, the gentle soothing tone made your tears end and feel sleepy laying your head in the crook of his neck
"...I love to dance dilly dilly I love to sing When I am queen dilly dilly You shall be king
Who told me so dilly dilly Who told me so ? I told myself dilly dilly I told me so."
Loki looked down at your sleeping form smiling at squished cheek and slight drool, he quietly made his way to your nursery to place you down in the crib but not before placing a soft kiss on your head
