You watched as Loki walked around his study collecting his collection of spell books one after the other putting them in a small portal that to god knows where , you yourself tried to see but Loki always forbid you to go near his magic or that of any kind with his or someone he trusted supervision who are you kidding Loki never let anyone one take care of you without him there.
" Must you goo ?" dragging out the "o" like that would help the situation
"I am afraid so my princess but I shall be back before you know it" He stop moving around the room to see your adorable form slouching be the door frame with an adorable pout on your face
"That's unfair you said today was our day , why must you go just because Tony turned himself into a dumb dog!" you raised your voice to show you meant it you stomped your foot for good measure while stiffly putting your arms at your sides
"Little one! we do not use such language , and your tone is..." Loki stopped his lecture when he noticed how sadly you looked at the floor tears daring to spill over . he sighed running his hand threw his hair and made his way over to you.
He lifted your frame off the cold floor not that you could feel it you had fluffy socks on. He made his way over to his desk and sat you down in his lap, cleared any tears that slipped from your eyes and combed a comforting hand threw your hair.
"Now my dearest I understand this was our day but Uncle Tony is our friend and he needs my help, and I promise that I'll make it up to you" you perked up at the thought of Loki making it up to so many possibilities...
'Hmm what can I get from this unlimited candy? Later bed time? No no too small, I got it !-' yes you were a little but you worked for the Avengers support team as analysist , basically you did prep work for missions and strategized there attacks so even in little space you always asset they situation it became a habit since you were a kid
"Love what are you thinking ?' Loki smirked at the surprised face you made when you snapped out your thoughts , Loki loved the way your brain worked but he also worried as it was also a weakness you carried with you
"Just thinking how ya ganna make it up to me !" you stated proudly knowing you had created the perfect day in the span of 10 sec Yep your brain worked too fast for any one to read
"I see, I cant wait for your plans my princess you can tell me when I get back Yes?" Loki carried you out his study closing the door behind him as you walked to the lounge you had on the floor you both shared
"Bye bye daddy !" you put on a happy face and allowed Loki to leave you, you already made him late so you didn't want him to be super late and the sooner he goes the sooner he gets back ...right ?
Time skip ~
'Ok, okay its only been 45 mins and exactly 38 sec since he said he'd be back'
'he's just running late, Yeah he just late'

'Its been 1 hour 14 min and 8 seconds since he's been gone'

so you stressed stemed for a few more minutes your mind going fastest than your Uncle Peitro till you heard the familiar swoosh of your Daddy's magic you looked up to confirm your guess and there he was Loki . Without a second thought you ran up too him jumping on him and wrapping yourself around him like a koala
Loki could feel your heart beat it felt like your chest would explode he knew he left you too long and stayed longer than agreed time and didn't call or message because he had forgot his phone Loki broke out of his thoughts by a sniffle, your sniffle
"I-I uh t-thought you left me , I'm sorry I w-was dif-diff-" Loki stopped you right then and there he knew your big brain would make this your fault you were still working on it together
"Princess I listen to me I would never leave for any of the 9 realms, I love you more than life it self and I will never let you go and I promise to makes sure you never think otherwise" Loki whispered gently into your ear as he gave you comforting rubs up and down your back he made his way to the couch and did this till he heard your light snores .
