I know some of this chapter doesn't really fit with the demon slayer storyline, so you use your imagination ♡´・ᴗ・'♡

Also I don't really know what ohagi (Sanemi's favourite food) is since I've never had it, so forgive me if I describe it wrong (ᗒᗣᗕ

Sanemi POV:

Today I was really excited, because there was a festival going on nearby. Master had told all the Hashira's to have a break off, and we all got sent to a hotel about 3 hours away from the Demon Slayer Headquarters. The festival that was being held was in honour of that towns leader, who passed away last year. There would be food stalls set up, fireworks, and fun. All the Hashira's as a group decided it would be a fun way to finish off our break before we had to go back to work.

At first, Giyu hadn't wanted to come. He isn't really the best at socializing, (especially with people he doesn't know) and he doesn't like crowds, but after some persuasion, he agreed to go with the rest of us.

We all set off to the festival and, after we found our way around, all split up with eachother to enjoy the festival. Me and Giyu decided to walk around and look at what all the stalls were selling. Giyu isn't the most talkative person ever, and Master suspects he has something called "selective mutism". Which he might well have, since he barley says a word around the other Hashira's, let alone to people he doesn't know.

"Maybe we should get some food and find a bench to sit on to watch the fireworks"

Giyu suggested, so quietly it was barley above a whisper. I nodded at him before saying "Yeah, we should get some ohagi". Giyu nodded at me, and I slowly steered him to the ohagi stall.

After getting our food, we sat down on a bench that was just in front of a bridge. The bridge was above a small lake that ran underneath, and, with the way we were facing we could see the fireworks just in front of us. "This is such a good spot! I wonder why nobody has sat here yet.." I thought out loud. "Mhm!" Giyu mumbled in reply as he ate.

Not long after we had finished our ohagi, I heard a crackle in the distance and saw the fireworks being released. I looked over at Giyu, who was smiling contently at the fireworks. I lent down, a gave him a sweet kiss. He turned to me, half shocked at the sudden contact, and even though his lips were occupied, his eyes were glinting and scrunched up happily.

I wrapped my arm around him as the fireworks continued to fly into the air. I looked at the fireworks, and though about how beautiful they were. Then I turned to Giyu, who was still smiling, his head resting on my shoulder.

"The fireworks may be beautiful, but nothing can ever be more beautiful than Giyu"
