3rd person POV:
Sanemi had always been curious of Giyu, whom he only knew as Tomioka. Whether it was during Hashira meetings, or on joint missions, Sanemi always found himself looking at the boy. He noticed every detail of Giyu. The way his eyes slightly changed colour, from a dark blue to a almost teal when the sun hit, or how he fidgeted with his fingers during meetings. The wind Hashira was known to be angry, constantly annoyed and seeking violence, but when around the water Hashira,he acted calmer, silently begging for even a slither of the others attention. Giyu also looked at Sanemi, and he saw how Sanemi looked at him, and he thought about how cute he was, seeking looks at Giyu when he thought he wasn't looking. However one day, the white-haired boy built up enough courage to talk to the other, and it was something he would never regret.
Sanemi and Giyu had been friends for a while, although others still found it hard to believe that they actually got along well. Sanemi and Giyu would train together, or sometimes just hang out, standing around and making small talk that had no particular topic or meaning. So when Sanemi walked up to Giyu one evening, it wasn't unusual.
The moon glittered in the dark night sky, casting a strong light on the ground which illuminated the water hashiras face. As Sanemi approached him, he noticed how Giyu's eyes glinted, the moon reflecting in his ocean coloured pupils.
"Giyu"
Sanemi said, and Giyu turned around and gave him a small smile, one that was seemingly reserved for Sanemi, as if it was a gift only to see the boy smile.
Which it was to Sanemi.
Butterflies fluttered in his stomach as he took a deep breath. He opened his mouth to speak, and in a light tone said...
"Giyu, I'm in love with you"
Giyu's eyes widened at the others words, and his lips parted slightly. The Wind Hashira stood in front of him, hoping for a good answer. Giyu's shocked expression changed, just as quickly as it has appeared and was replaced with a small smile.
"I love you to, Sanemi"
Sanemi will never forget how the others eyes glinted on that evening, how many sparks flew up inside the others eyes, and the sweet kiss they shared moments later.
What beautiful ocean eyes.
