Nicole's POV
"Are we really doing that?" Donna asks. "Look, if you don't want to, you can back away. No one will blame you. I don't know if it works, but if it does it will be creepy as fuck." I say, knowing that she isn't the bravest one. "Fuck it, I'm staying." She says. "We will be together anyways." Cora says. "And you also have me and Zahn. The two men!" Karpov says. "Mhm...yeah. Shall we start?" Cora asks and I nod.
I take out the Quija board and turn on candles. "I can't believe we will be summoning your dead sister, Nicole." Zahn says. "Shh!" Cora sushes him. We join our hands. "Nadia Strova, we summon you. We have good motives. We want to learn about your murder. Please, honor us with your presense." I say. "I don't think it is going to work." Karpov says. At the sound of his words, the window opens and a gust of wind comes inside. This would be perfectly normal if the wind was blowing. But tonight, it is totally windless.
The window closes by itself. It locks itself also. "The window locked..." Donna says trembling. The window unlocks, again by itself. The candles blow out. Donna and Karpov shriek. The lights turn on. I grab Cora's hand tightly. "Look; on the table!" Cora says and points on the wooden table.
The melted candle has fallen on the table. It depicts an arrow which points to the quija board. We slowly place our hands on the white triangle that lays on the quija board. It starts moving by itself. 'H' 'E' 'Y'.
"Hi?" we say unanimously. "Nadia, is it you?" I ask. 'Yes'. "How can we know?" Karpov asks. The triangle moves. 'I will show.' The triangle stays put. "Guys, do you hear that?" Cora asks. "Hear what?" Zahn asks her. "The voice. It reminds me of Nadia's." Cora says. "Cora what are you talking about?" I ask. "Hush!" Cora demands and closes her eyes.
Cora opens her eyes and stares intensely in front of her, unemotionally. "Heya bitchesss!" She yells and throws her hands up. That voice isn't Cora's though...
"Nadia?" I ask. She looks at me and hugs me tighly. "Yep." She answers. "How, what, huh?" Donna asks, confused. "Seeing that Cora is the bravest one here, I asked her if it is okay to take her body to give my spirit a shape. And here I am!!" Nadia-Cora says. "I've missed you." I say to her. "Me too. But we are here to talk for a serious issue, right? Let's get started then." she says.
"Nadia, how did you die?" I ask. "I remember it so fucking vividly. It was bad, real bad. I had just finished my math class and as always, I started walking home. The sun had set, but it wasn't completely dark. The lamps on the road even lit up the area. However, not many people were around. I remember clearly that I was walking alone on my side of the road and another man was walking on the sidewalk across of me.
The man turned around the corner and when he did, I heard him yell 'help'. I was shocked at first, but then the second yell came, more agonizing.
I run to see what happened.
As I was waking on the alley I saw no one. I felt a presence behind me and when I turned my head around, I saw that man holding a metal pole and coming towards me.
I started running away not knowing where I was going. I tried to grab my phone and unlock it to call the police, but as I was running and shaking from fear, so it fell from my hands.
