LEGACY SPOILERS
Hello everyone! This oneshot was written by brokenmicrophones and I give her all the credit. This takes place when everyone is at Loamnore in Legacy. Hope you enjoy!
in which tam and linh half reunite
"Tam, stop it!"
The shadows in the room lightened as a black cloaked figure tossed back their hood and strode towards the trembling girl.
"You shouldn't be here."
The two black haired siblings gazed at each other through the darkness. Teary eyed and nervously shaking, both of them, although only a few metres away, felt like they were miles apart on a never ending tightrope of trauma.
"I know. But we're stronger together."
A soft voice reverberated through the silence as the world ceased to move. The pair stared at each other in disbelief, knowing that one of them could be taken away at any moment, no matter how hard they fought.
"I missed you so much, Tam."
Tam opened his mouth, as if to say something, but then forcefully turned away, looking down in a shameful manner.
Once again, they looked forwards, a perfect reflection of the other.
"Me too, Linh."
Linh moved closer, and Tam stepped away.
Suddenly, time lurched onwards as an unmistakably awful voice pierced through the air, and the room fell silent, and Linh stumbled backwards, and a heavy force pushed down on the room; and there stood Tam, grabbing at himself and spinning around and pacing up and down as he pulled up his sleeves to reveal the glowing, burning bracelets of light.
And it was like playing rock paper scissors, knowing you were going to lose every time. Shadows equal light. Shadows beat fire. Shadows destroy water.
But she still tried.
She failed.
But she tried.
