A lone figure sat in the midst of the Mondtsadt fountain, directly behind the massive stage set up by Aether, the honorary knight. He was silently examining a strange device the traveler had handed him, adjusting it to his delight. The figure had dark blue hair with twin braids at the tips that were accentuated in aqua. Venti was his name.
It was nighttime and he finally finished the song his old friend never got to finish.
Satisfied, Venti decided to walk up to the stage as many curious citizens had started gathering around it as if they were flocks of moths around a fire. He sat down on the chair placed right in the middle and brought the strange 'microphone' close to his lips.
The dark blue-haired male took a deep breath in and began singing softly.
It's like a polaroid love
Sarang, chonseureon geu gamjeong
Geunde nae gaseumi ttwieo
Wae na irae na
A bunch of o's and a's could be heard within the crowd. Suffice to say, they were amazed at how fantastic his music was. Song after song, they were all amazing. He truly was the 'legendary bard of Mondstadt'.
But it was odd. What kind of language was this?
Meanwhile, with the bard himself, he didn't quite feel right with his set-up. It felt too...composed and his voice wasn't reaching his expectations. It was way too soft.
Sensing his discomfort, a certain platinum blonde alchemist threw him a bottle of dandelion wine which was paid for legally! Like the alcoholic he was, the archon caught it without batting an eye and took a swig of the liquid, chucking it until it was halfway done before wiping his lips.
This was it!
This was the feeling that he was missing.
Now with a deeper voice due to his drunken state, Venti sang, his face still flushed from the previous endeavor.
Wae sarange mongmaeneun geonji
Eochapi ppeonhan gamjeongijana
Bunmyeong da anda mideotji
Algodo ppajin hamjeonginga bwa
Venti got more comfortable and stood up, hearing the music being played in the background by the local astrologist of Mondtsadt. It turned out that this young woman was talented in both the arts of her craft and music as well.
The beat was slowly picking up as per requested and the archon could feel his heart accelerating with excitement. His blue eyes scanned the crowd below and the grin on his face widened. He could see that this concert of his has grown to a reasonable size with people of all ages gathering and looking in awe at his performance.
Heck, he could even see the traveler tapping his foot and bopping his head to the music! Aether's companion, Paimon wasn't paying as much attention to the song as much as he had hoped but at least she seemed to be having fun shoving food down her throat.
Nado moreuge when you call my name
The archon held out his hand before pulling it back and placing it on his heart. His mouth formed a gentle smile as he strayed along the sides of the wooden stage.
