Chapter 15: Hospital Bed

TAEHYUNG POV

"Taera, come on, wake up," I tried to help her.

Taera wasn't responding. 

"Jisoo, call an ambulance," I said. "Come on, Taera, come on."

Paramedics came quickly and took her into the emergency vehicle. Jisoo and I went back into our car and followed the ambulance to the hospital. 

2 HOURS LATER

My mind was racing at this point, waiting in that waiting room for hours on end. 

"Taehyung," I heard a voice.

"Mom," I went up and hugged her.

"Is Taera okay," my mom asked.

"I don't know. I haven't been able to see her yet," I said.

Just then, a nurse walks into the waiting room.

"Taehyung," she calls my name.

"Yes," Jisoo and my mom were behind me.

"The good news is she's in stable condition," hearing that made us sigh in relief.

"Oh, thank god," my mom said.

"Is she awake, doctor," I said.

"Oh yes, she's awake, but try to take it easy with her. She just got back," the nurse said. "You demons sure know how to heal quickly."

"So is she good," I said.

"Well, the doctor and the other caladrius' have healed most of her body, but there is some internal frostbite and some void sickness," the doctor explained, which made us nervous. "Don't worry. The sickness and frostbite will heal within two months."

"Is it okay if I see my daughter," my mom said.

"Oh yeah, sure," the nurse led us to the room.

Walking through the hospital as the other nurses walked by, we made it to the room where Taera where on the bed.

"Taera, you're okay," I said.

"H~Hey guys," she stuttered as she struggled to lift her hand.

30 MINUTES LATER

"Try not to move, dear," my mom said as she fed Taera.

"Thanks, mom,' Taera said.

"Taehyung, take care of Taera. I have to go to work now," my mom left.

Once my mom left, I turned back to Taera.

"Taera, jeez," I said.

"I'm feeling okay now, if you're wondering," Taera said. "You don't have to worry."

"Taera, do you remember what happened," I asked.
