Chapter 18: Jennie's Secret

JISOO POV

Sitting along with Jennie in the hospital. I was waiting for her awakening.

"Mmm," I heard her groan.

"Hey, hey," I finally replied.

"Mmmmmm," she groaned some more. "Where am I."

"At the hospital," I said.

"What happened," she asked.

"It's best that you don't know," I said. "But Jennie, you lied to me."

"What do you mean," she said.

"Kim Taera, is that name enough for you," I replied.

Jennie, gaining her focus, now knew what I was talking about. 

"Jisoo, look~

"I don't want to hear," I said. "You beat someone up, and look where that got you."

"I remember, Taehyung beat me up," Jennie said. "Why didn't you do anything to stop it."

"As much as it horrified me, you had what was coming to you," I said.

Jennie couldn't say anything after that. She knew what she had done throughout the school year.

"Are Lisa and Rosé okay," Jennie said.

"They're okay. They're lucky Taehyung didn't hurt them as much," I said. 

"How long have I been out," Jennie asked.

"A good three days," I replied. "Doctor said that you can be out in 4 months, but the injuries will heal in 6 months."

"6-month recovery, are you serious," Jennie said.

"Relax. Taehyung reported what you've been doing to his sister. You're suspended for the rest of the year. You'll have plenty of time to recover," I explained. 

"And Taehyng didn't get suspended as well," Jennie asked.

"Oh, he did, but he only got one week out of defense for his sister," I said.

11:00 A.M

"Listen, I have to go," I said.

"Jisoo, please don't leave," Jennie held my arm.

"Sorry, but I have to," then I left the room.

JENNIE POV

Sitting in this medical bed for hours. I can't wait to get out.

"Um, Jennie," the nurses knocked on the door.

"Yeah," I said.

"Good, you're up," the nurse replied. "We're going to transfer you to another room."

"What, why," I asked.

"Cause you woke up now, we have a special procedure for that," the nurse explained. "You'll be sharing a room with someone else."
