INTERMISSION III

"Are you sure Mingi was staring at Minho?" Felix asked.

"One hundred percent" Hyunjin nodded.

"Ok, and what happened after that?"

"That's the thing. Nothing happened, and Minho didn't mention it again, but after the awards were over, I noticed he had sort of dissapeared. I found him five minutes later backstage, flustered and totally out of it. Suspicious, isn't it?"

"AND YOU DIDN'T THINK ABOUT TELLING US RIGHT THEN AND THERE?"

"Hey, calm down, Joong" Yunho interfered. "It's not his fault if everyone here is a horndog."

Han and Seonghwa broke out in loud cackles and almost fell on the floor.

"Says the one who did it first. Are you kidding me, Yunho?" Hongjoong fought back.

"Everyone, please, let's calm down. There is no use in laying blame now. I will... go find Minho and we'll solve this, I promise."

And with that, Hyunjin stormed out of the room and headed straight for the shared dorm.

Needless to say, Mingi and Minho were lost for words. They hadn't even gone on their first date yet and here they were, getting looked upon by their members. For doing what? Talking?

"Look, I'm too tired to go through all of that crap again. Do whatever you want, date, kiss, fuck, I DON'T CARE. I'm only asking for one thing." Hongjoong intensely pointed a finger at them.

"Well? What is it?" Minho dared to question.

"Keep it under wraps. Don't tell anyone. And protect the maknaes. Please"

"Woah, calm down, man" Mingi raised both his palms in defense.

"No, this is serious. Minho, do you promise?" Felix asked, his voice shaking a little.

"Alright, alright. God, let us live. We just got together, can't we enjoy our first date in peace?"

"Aww, that's so cute! You guys are actually going on a date?" Hyunjin was suddenly really interested in the conversation.

"Uh...yes? That is, if you still want to?" Mingi pleaded with his eyes.

"Shut up. Of course I do." Minho smiled.

"Ugh, I'm so happy for you. Despite their...concerns." Hyunjin shook his head. "We never went on a date, did we, babe?"

Yunho choked on his spit and slapped Hyunjin's arm in a not-so-subtle way.

"Ouch, what did I-"

"So I was right?" Seonghwa cut him off, out of nowhere. "All of you are also couples? Not just fuck buddies?"

Felix cleared his throat and looked at a strangely calm Hongjoong, silently asking for permission. He just sighed and scratched his head.

"Apparently, yes."

Minho nearly fainted.

"But now shut up and keep all of this a secret, got it?"
