All was silent in a singular office-like room. Aside from the flickering and buzzing of the monitors mounted on the wall, there was no indicator as to anything alive within the room. That was until the man wearing a lab coat over his black dress shirt and pants suddenly jolted up from his seat. Seemingly coming to life from his near-like comatose state, the man blinked owlishly at his surroundings before his eyes settled straight ahead him.

The other occupant in the room that sat straight across from him, the AI known as Angela, kept her eyes closed as she waited for the his mind to settle before speaking.

"Hello, X."

Her silky smooth voice resonated throughout the room. The man narrowed his eyes at that, something that she quickly picked up on but left to its own devices. Though few in number, changes between each loop were to be expected. So she didn't find it that odd enough for any action to be taken.

"I give you a warm welcome to Lobotomy Corporation."

As if her words had finally registered in his brain, his eyes widened in a clear sign of emotion. Another thing that Angela picked up on. The Manager wasn't one to easily display his emotions, he was calm and collected as one would expect from his position. So to see even a sliver of what could be called "human emotion" was surprising and intriguing. But she, unfortunately, could not deviate from the script she was given and proceeded to the next lines of her part: her introduction.

"My name is—"

Her usual introduction was quickly interrupted by the Manager swiftly waving his arm in front of her while turning his face away. His other hand rested itself on his head while covering his eyes, as if to shield him from something grotesque. Angela was about to ask if there was something wrong, but the words died out before they could be spoken as the Manager suddenly spoke instead.

"Silence wench!" He exclaimed before standing abruptly. The action would've made Angela flinch in surprise if she wasn't a machine. Instead, she could only raise a twitching eyebrow at the way he was acting and the profanity that he called her. "I do not wish to be horny anymore!......I just want to be happy......."

He then suddenly dropped to his knees on the floor before spreading his arms out into the air as if he were expecting an embrace from an angel. If that wasn't shocking enough for the AI assistant, then the next thing was. The AI almost glanced around the room in confusion when mysteriously a soft melody played out as the Manager finished his sentence.

Her confusion was warranted, after all there weren't supposed to be any speakers in the Manager's office. Soon the monitors mounted on the wall flickered before showing a low quality picture of a horse looking out into a vast body of water. The words 'I just want to be happy' were on the top and bottom in white text.

For a moment Angela had assumed this was something that Be— *cough* *cough* 'B' was doing. That assumption quickly died as she checked the source of where they had came from, and found that both the melody and picture came from a folder in the Manager's computer titled 'Important Documents'.

She didn't know whether she should be disappointed or pissed off at the fact that the previous iterations of the Manager had the time to do this. Instead, she chose to simply calm herself down and get things back on track with the script. There was obviously something wrong with the Manager, and she had several theories as to what that was. But for now it could wait, for the day must go on.
