Stuart's p.o.v
Flashback to morning.
Do you know how it feels when you wake up, not remembering anything, head throbbing and you see a really angry Rebecca staring at you?
"Rebecca! Why do you look so angry? You ran out of make up?" Rebecca is slightly obsessed with make up, and well..i tried to cheer her up.
She came up to me and slapped me so hard, it took me a little time to suck what's going on again, then her frustrated voice boomed in the living room.
"The only one who ran out of make up and showed his real self is you!"
What is she talking about?
"Well, it seems that you got drunk last night, and..." Jake, my wolf, let out a sigh, "well, long story short, you drifted because you were drinking, Jane came and saw you with Emily," disappointment was clear in Jake's husky voice.
I tried to tell him something, anything, but he raised his walls of privacy so i had no chance to open a conversation with him.
Rebecca snapped her fingers in front of me, "uh, i'll go see your mare, want me to tell her one of your excuses?" She said.
"You aren't going anywhere. Sit," i said.
She can't protest, i'm the alpha, she sat down and crossed her arms, her eyes went anywhere, but it never made its way to me.
"So, Rebecca, will you explain to me why you slapped me?"
"Your wolf told you," she seemed bored.
"I wanna hear everything in details," i growled. This girls will drive me out of my temper.
"We were having dinner when you left, then Jane and i went to the restroom, and got back to our table, the she started gasping and fighting for air she said she had chest ache, George and i knew what was wrong, it was unexpected specially from you!"
"I did what?" I asked, what the hell did i do?! I'm so stupid.
"You didn't know?" Rebecca said, unbelievably.
"I don't remember anything," i tried to recall last night, but i was disappointed by nothing.
"Yeah, it doesn't work on me, these stupid excuses. You expect Jane to believe that? With all due respect, though. If you'll excuse me, i'm going."
She left without the patience for me to talk.
End of flashback.
