Stuart's p.o.v
Being away from my mate is torture. I sent my best pack warriors and hunters -beginners and experts to look out for any sign of Jane. Their Luna. My mate.
Who is doing this? Why?
I miss her. I miss her eyes when they twinkle. I miss her lips when they form a warm smile. I miss her embrace.
I haven't eaten or slept. I can't. How can i eat, while she's probably starving? How can i sleep, when she's probably crying every night?
"Alpha, we found Luna's scent," Mason, one of the pack warriors called through mind link.
If you're wondering how they know her scent -i gave them Jane's shirt to identify it.
"Where?" I asked urgently.
"West from our territory, No man's land."
"Attack meeting in 10 minutes," i called to the hunters and warriors who i let to rest for this day.

"Everyone; your Luna is found, but not safe...yet. We'll leave in about..." I looked at my watch. "Now. Let's go!"
We left the pack house in our wolves, we reached No man's land in no tome, and i barged into a deserted place and sniffed. Vampires.
Then i saw him.
"Max?!"
"Hello, Alpha," he bowed then laughed. "What a stupid action, this is how you show respect to each other?" He clutched his belly and laughed.
"Where's she?" I growled, sensing her presence.
"Who's 'she' exactly? You know, we kidnap a lot," he scoffed.
"Where is Jane?" I hissed.
"Oh, Jane?" He breathed out. "Come on, i'll lead you to her."
I don't know why i followed him, but i had a feeling i could trust him. But only with that.
He took a key and unlocked a cell. Her scent got stronger making my wolf howl in excitement.
"Baby, there's someone who's her to see you," he called out.
I growled at what he called her.
"Shut up, Max. Who's here?" A voice said. Weak. Tired. Hurt. The voice. Her voice.
"Jane?" I said. Her name, i haven't pronounce it since forever.
She looked up and an unreadable expression flashed in her eyes.
A tear made its way down her cheek, wiping a line of dirt from her face.
"Stuart."
I walked up to her, but was stopped by Max.
"No, no," he shook his head. "Visiting time is over."
He pushed me away from her, i growled and looked back at her. Just in time to see her mouth "go" and nodded.
I think i understood what she meant. She wants me to leave the house, not the territory -she wants me to fight them.

Jane's p.o.v
Angel got some excitement and energy when she saw her mate. Our mate.
But i know its not safe here for him. I told him to go. If he left they'll let go of me thinking its no use. And no harm will be done to Stuart. Safe in our territory.

Two days later, when Max came in, his nose dripping blood, his arms covered with blood and bruises, his shirt torn,
"I'm gonna kill him," he kept saying that. Then he pointed at me. "I'm going to kill your stupid mate. Such a stupid thing to do. You know what'll be the best part? I'll let you watch as i kill him -slowly and painfully."
He's back. Stuart is back.
That's bad.
They'll kill him.
