"Should have minded my own business" You said to yourself, while leaving the forest.
You were getting hungry, it's been a while since you last ate. And what better that a dango.
You skipped through the dirty paths in search of a dango shop. Nothing. Just hundred of rice camps. Your stomach grumbled causing a group of kids to look at you strangely. The youngest of the three got close to you and extended her hand handing you something.
"This was supposed to be Onii-chan's but you can have it! I'm sure Shoichi wouldn't mind. Right?" She eyed her brother--more like glared--. You recognized them. They were the kid of the Drum mansion arc.
"Don't worry, little one. Your brother can have it...I was searching for a place to eat anyway!" You told her.
"I insist! Have it, big sis!" She held the stick in front of your face. "I'll make you it it myself! You need to eat to feel good and strong!" She insisted while playfully pouting.
She was held back by her brother. The one with the persimmon colored kimono. "Teruko...calm down. Miss, why do you wield a sword?" Kiyoshi asked while pointing at the blade strapped on your waistline. You sweatdropped.
"Eh...I am a samurai?" It sounded more like a question, which caused some suspicious to rise in the two boys. Teruko just looked at you with stars in her eyes. "Wow!! Where is your armour? Does the color of your sword change? Do you use it to fight people? Have you ever killed som-" Teruko was stopped by Shoichi who tapped her mouth.
"Please forgive her, she talks a lot...here" He handed you the dango and left without uttering another word.
"Teruko don't talk to strangers. Not that one at least. She was weird." Kiyoshi scolded his sister. "Shoichi tell her something..." He looked at his brother for help. "He's right" Kiyoshi faceplamed.
You looked at them as they left, felling slightly offended by Kiyoshi's remark, you left as well in search of something to eat.
'How weird...'
The sun slowly set in the horizon and fortunately for you, you found a place with food. It was a small shop.
You entered the shop and heard the small 'ting' of the bell indicating that a person just entered the shop.
