The sun shone bright outside as birds chirped and butterflies fluttered their wings. Their mesmerising colors perfectly blending with the colorful garden that was watched with great care by Shinobu herself. Aoi already awake taking care of the chores as the little girls helped him around.
It was a pretty morning Aoi certainly wouldn't let you sleep in, or else you could possibly doze off for half of the day.
He stood by your bed and stared at your sleeping face. He furrowed his brows and tilted his head slightly.
'Was that always there? Nevermind' He brushed off his thoughts and with much reclutance he shook you awake. "[Last Name] it is time for breakfast."
Yet you slept like a rock, snores sounds leaving your mouth at each breath you take assuring him you were indeed alive, just kind of a heavy sleeper. Usually you'd be super wary of your surroundings while sleeping, but you were currently in the Butterfly Estate, the only danger lurking around was Inosuke and possibly Shinobu.
"[Last Name]!" He said a bit louder shaking you with even less care at this point. His voice attracted a certain black haired boy walking in after a successful mission.
"Aoi?" Kanao peeked his head in slightly to stare at his brother-like friend. He approached your bed smile still on his face as he closed his eyes innocently.
Aoi groaned in frustration and ran a hand down his face. "She won't wake up, I swear I tried!" Aoi could feel himself on the verge of tears from exasperation.
"Have you tried a different approach?" Kanao tilted his head to the side as he uttered that question. Certainly there must be some way to wake you up. No one sleeps this heavily especially not someone who is in costant danger.
"A different approach? I shook her and yelled yet nothing works."
"Maybe try like this."
He pushed you down the bed and acted as if nothing happened as he watched your figure slumped on the ground. You stirred in your sleep and slowly woke up yawning. You scratched your head and tried to rub the sleepiness away as you stared at your surroundings.
"When did I end up on the floor...?" You sighed and got up from the floor still unaware of the two figures standing by your bed. Kanao had his arms down his sides while Aoi stared at him bewildered. Aoi slapped him lightly with the cloth he used to wipe the windows. Kanao slightly disgusted paid no mind to it, or if he did it didn't really show on his naturally relaxed face.
You climbed back in bed ready to go back to sleep as you noticed the Butterfly boys standing besides your bed. "Breakfast is in the weird boys' room" Aoi said and quickly scurried away.
"Thanks?" You yelled after him hoping he heard it somehow. "Hey!" You casually greeted the other boy who otherwise decided to stay longer.
"Good morning." His greeting was almost the same you would hear from a robot in some weird movie.
