Today is the first day of school. Back from summer break at least. I'm a freshman in high school and my best friend is a junior.

After getting his stuff together for school, he started walking to the bus stop. Soon enough the bus arrived. Muichiro got on the bus, sitting in the back behind Tanjiro.
Tanjiro turned around in his seat.
"Hey Mui!" - T Muichiro quietly waved "Waiting for Genya?" - T He nodded. "Four more stops until Genya gets on." - M "You count?" - T "Yeah, there are only two more stops until Kanao gets on." - M
"Kanao isn't coming today, she's sick." - T "Aww, what a kind boyfriend you are." - M "We aren't- I'm not- nevermind." - T
Muichiro smiles and looks out the window. "Sooo, are you and Genya a thing?" - T Muichiro blushes. "Why? What's he said? I mean- no?" - M
