Sad Sanegiyu

Imagine This. 

Sanemi wakes up early on Giyu's 25th to give him breakfast in bed. Sanemi notices that Giyu was cold but he thinks that he is just sick so he just goes to make breakfast. He comes back with the food in the tray, hearing some loud coughing.

He finds Giyu coughing hard so he drops the tray, running over to him. Sanemi saw that Giyu was coughing blood. Tomioka also had his slayer mark.

Sanemi at that moment remembered the hashira meeting after upper ranks 4 and 5 were defeated, and how Amane explained that everyone who had the slayer mark, died before the age of 25.

After he remembered that, he noticed how Tomioka stopped coughing. Giyu was looking at Sanemi with soft eyes.

Giyu softly spoke, "Thank...you Sanemi..."

He paused, taking a deep breath.

"I was always...afraid.."

Another pause.

"Afraid..of dying..alone.." He finished his sentence with a smile.

Sanemi starts to cry, remembering how Genya died in his arms.

"Please don't..please don't leave me Giyu.."

Giyu continued smiling, parting his lips to speak once again.
"I'm so...so..sorry..."

Sanemi buries his face into Giyu's neck.

"No... please god don't take him away..he's all I have left.."

Tomioka's spirit hugs Sanemi.
"I'm sorry Sanemi.."

A woman and boy appear.
"Giyu."

Giyu looks up to see his best friend Sabito, and his sister, Tsutako.

"Sabito...Tsutako..!"

Giyu gets up and hugs them.
"You did well, Giyu" Sabito says with a smile.

"Mom and dad are waiting for us." Tsutako also ended her sentence with a sweet smile.

Tomioka gave Sanemi one last hug and left with Sabito and Tsutako.

Sanemi felt the coldness, but he ignored it and continued to cry.

In the end, it shows Tsutako and Giyu, running to their parents in a garden.
