Around Town

Mr. E had run into the underside of the Bounty. Boxes lined the sides of the ship. Hiding from Zane was going to prove difficult. Just what was he going to do? He stopped when he realized something.

"He went down here." he heard Zane call out.

"Did he have any weapons?" Lloyd asked as he started down the stairs and looked from one corner to the next. There were nothing but boxes, and old vehicles lining the walls.

"Do we know where he went? There are boxes all over the place. It's a needle in a haystack." Jay's loud voice said.

"We can use our infrared to find him." Pixal said as her eyes began to glow an orange color. Zanes' own eyes began to scan as well.

There was a loud bang just behind Pixal. She fell forward onto the floor of the Bounty as boxes fell onto her and Jay. Above them was Pixal's Samurai X suit. Within the cockpit was Mr. E.

"Its a shame really. He's in here...crying for you." His voice was nothing like Echo. It sounded more deeper, and more...unEchoish. Zane ran forward trying to get to his brother. Although he had no idea how he was going to save his younger brother.

"Let him go Mr. E." Zane tried. The suit ammed its arms at the side of the boat and fired. Water began to rush in as the suit flew from the ship.

Zane used his ice powers to block up the hole that he had just created. The red lights above him began to flash. A voice echoed within.

"Hull Breach! Hull Breach!" They would have to get back to port and have it fixed again before going back out.

"Jay!" Zane heard LLoyd and turned to see Jay floating around the water. Blood seeping from his head.

"I believe he was hit by one of the heavier boxes." Pixal said as she pushed aside boxes so they could get him out safer.

"Agreed." Zane helped Lloyd to get Jay from the water and walked him up the stairs.

The samurai X suit at least was water proofed, and it burst from the depth rather easily. He looked around at the world above as he piloted it toward land.

Luckily the island of Ninjago as well as its city was brightly colored. Mr. E would have to find a good place to stash this mech as he made his way around the city.

Wonder if the old hang out is still there or if the NINJA raided it." He asked no one in particular. Although in his head he could still hear the crying and the begging of the nindroid brother of that snowflake, Zane.

"Please...please just take me home. I want Zane! I wanna go home!" His voice was starting to piss him off.

Mr. E hit the console as he yelled.

"Be quite you stupid infant! You'll never see your brother again! This is my body and I'm going to find a way to delete you!" He yelled out hitting the console again.

This time the mech didn't respond well. Red lights spread across the front screen causing the nindroid to stare in disbelief.

"Offline!? I didn't hit you that hard!" He yelled as the mech started to fall down toward the warehouse district. At least there wasn't much to blow up in down there. Probably someone's dirty laundry forgotten in a large crate growing mushrooms...he hoped.

The mech hit the ground cartwheeling, and spun through the air before crashing through a wall and laying still against some metal crates.

Mr. E groaned as he looked at the heads up display...or rather what used to be there. The suit's frontal chest plate must have broken off in the crash. He ran his fingers over his head and he realized he was hurt. He looked around for a moment before his vision began to go back to normal.

"Ow..." The voice however was that of Echo rather then Mr. E. Being knocked unconscious must have caused him to go back into hiding. Leaving the poor nindroid alone, and without a working mech to call him. He tried his best to turn back on the mech, but the whole thing wouldn't turn over.

"Well, well, well what do we have here?" Echo looked up to see a man walking into the warehouse. His bronze arm made a wiring noise as he moved his red straw hat up onto his head. "Looks like we have a new employee."

"Employee?" Echo asked. He was too young for a job, chores yes, but not a job.

"Well yeah! You busted up my loot...I mean stuff." He motioned to the boxes. "Looks like you'll just have to pay me back...now won't you." He smiled
