insomnia - hwang hyunjin

''Slow down!'' Hyunjin yelled at Y/n. She jogged in place as she waited for Hyunjin to be next to her. ''Staying the active during the day helps you fall asleep.'' she said as he finally stood beside her.

''Just give me a second. I need to catch my breath.'' he said. Y/n just stood there, waiting for him to be done so they could continue. Hyunjin looked at her as she was looking around the park. A scooter drove towards them. Hyunjin grabbed Y/n closer to him so she wouldn't be hit. ''Where do you think you're grabbing onto?'' she asked as she gently removes his hand that was around her waist. ''You could've gotten hit.'' he defended himself. ''I could've dodged it myself but thanks anyway.'' she said. ''You're becoming more sassy with me.'' he said. ''I've learned it from the best.'' she said and began to start jogging again.

THAT NIGHT

Hyunjin did fall asleep quite quickly but it wasn't even close to their goal. Y/n couldn't stay over this time since she had to work at Awakened for the special event.

Hyunjin was having a nightmare while Y/n was getting ready to leave. She was in the living room so she hadn't notice it. She put her shoes on as she suddenly felt arms around her waist. ''Don't leave.'' he said as a few tears left his eyes and rolled over his cheeks. She froze. She had to leave but she couldn't leave him in this state. ''I'll stay. Just let me take my shoes off.'' she said. He hesitated but let go of her.

He went to sit on the couch as Y/n took her shoes off.  She texted her boss that there was an emergency so she couldn't come to work. She quickly went to the couch and sat down next to him. She patted his back as she worriedly looked at him. He looked at her and started crying. He couldn't hold it anymore. He dove into your arms as he was sobbing.

Hyunjin had fallen asleep in Y/n's arms. She was still stroking his back. She couldn't go anywhere as he was practically on top of her. She looked at him. At least he was sleeping now. She decided that it would be best if she also tried to sleep. She closed her eyes and drifted off to dreamland.

The sun shone onto Hyunjin's face. He squirmed around a bit in the hope that the sun wouldn't be on his face anymore. He quickly gave up on that and slowly opened his eyes. He noticed that he was still in the arms of Y/n. She was sound asleep underneath him. 

He tried to get up but her hands pulled him back. His face was so close to hers. His heart skipped a beat. He looked at her sleeping face. She was beautiful. Her eyes slowly opened. They looked straight into each other's eyes. She was fully awake now that she noticed how close he was. She let go of her hands and Hyunjin quickly stood up. ''I'll go and take a shower.'' he said and walked into the bathroom. His cheeks were red and his heart was beating fast. Y/n simply nodded as she was still processing what had happened.
